The Chase!

I had to run, I had to get away. I didn't care where I was running to, so long that I wouldn't have to go back there and and face them.
"Hurry Japan Ve have to catch up to Italy! Vhy is he so damn fast? I vish he vould run zhat fast during training."
"Ve~ My legs are starting to feel like led. I can hardly pick them up anymore and that's saying something. I'm Italian! We're pro's at running away."
"Ve~ Maybe I can stop and take a break?
I think I'm far enough away from Germany and Japan by now?
Ve~ To tell you the truth, I have no idea where I am right now and I'm pretty sure I lost Germany and Japan awhile ago without noticing."

"Vhere did he go? I can't believe ve lost him already. Germany-san maybe he ran back home? I don't know Japan, maybe. I just have zhis veird feeling, zhat Italy is still out zhere in the mountains. Maybe ve can look a little longer around here, just in case?
Hai you're right Germany-san!
It's better to make sure and not to be sure at all."

"Ve~ I think I can stop for now, I think I put enough distance behind me. Ve~ I'm so tired, my legs feel like noodles.
Maybe I can take a little siesta? Ve~ I'm pretty sure they can't find me all the way out here?"
I started to close my eyes just for a few minutes and I could have sworn I heard someone yelling my name?
I tried to hear if they would say my name again and sure enough they did. But it wasn't someone, it was Germany.
"Ve~ Karma must really have it in for me or something," cause right when I turned around to see if my mind was playing tricks on me. Sure enough they were right behind me, but they haven't spotted me yet.
"Ve~ I still have enough time to get away, before it's to late."
So once again I ran away as fast as I could.
"Ve~ Now that I think about it, it's probably isn't the smartest idea to run in random directions in the mountains. I could get hurt."
Cause if the gods would have it. When I turned the next corner I slipped and started to stumble to the bottom of the valley.
When I started to fall, I could have sworn I hit almost every sharp rock and tree nearly on the way to the bottom.
Once I have finally stopped falling and got my bearings, I could tell I was in bad shape.
"Ve~ Everthing hurts." But not as bad as my broken heart.
Then my whole cruel world started to fade to black.
But before I completely faded into the abyss, last thing I saw was a set of dark brown boots
and a long tan trench coat.
