FLASHBACK IN ITALICS
May I come in sir, she asked knocking on the door, she walked in getting the approval, "you have been selected for the third round now our boss Mr. ASR will take an interview of you along with the other 5 candidates best of luck", she was elated to hear the news and was mentally preparing herself for the final round while walking the distance to reach the waiting area. On reaching she found all the candidates behaving weirdly some were putting on extra makeup others where making adjustments to there clothes, they all looked like they were on a mission of seducing someone and she could feel all of them being nervous, she walked close to them and asked one of then why they were doing all this and the only reply she got was "are you not aware of who ASR, is he is the owner of AR crop. we all are here for the post of his P.A", she was aware of all that, but why are you all doing this, she asked, "ASR only likes women who are rich, sexy and of class, a behenji's like you cannot impress him", they mocked, she rolled her eyes at all and walked to take a seat just then a man came in and said, "Hello candidates I am Aman Mathur ASR's manager. ASR will start the interview shortly and the order is Sheena Rathod, Riya solanki Akansha sharma, Sheetal Kapoor and khushi Gupta, please stick to the order and best of luck" Aman walked up to khushi and said, "don't worry you'll be fine and ya don't listen to these walking makeup kits ASR is nothing like what they said", she looked at him questioningly he smiled and said, "who can know him better than his best friend", khushi relaxed and smiled she needed this job and somewhere felt a bit positive listening to Aman.
One by one all walked in and out and all had fallen faces, it somewhere gave the feeling that Aman was right because. It boosted her confidence, but suddenly Sheetal came out like of the cabin like she had touched the stars. Khushi was dejected, she stood up to walk away and just then Aman came from behind Sheetal and said Khushi," where are you going its your turn next", just then, Sheetal said, "Aman haven't you heard what ASR said, I got the Job so why will he call her". "Its sir, for you Miss. Kapoor and I know ASR a lot better than you so stay in your limits, Khushi come in," said Aman slamming the door on Sheetal's face. Khuhsi walked in and was stunned to she the person sitting in front of her, everything spoke perfection, her steps became slow, she became nervous all of a sudden, Aman walked in to find a nervous khushi who had eyes down stuck on the floor and walked ever so slowly like a snail, and his best friend staring openly at her, as if she was the last woman on Earth, he had to do something before his friend gets caught in the act of staring by khushi, Aman cleared his throat and went and stood adjacent to ASR's table, "sir this is Khushi Gupta our last candidate opting for this post", Aman nugged ASR on his elbow to bring him back from his dreamland, ASR cleared his throat and said, urghhh, "ya thanks Aman, Khushi, I mean, Miss Gupta please take your seat. Aman you can leave", Aman nodded with a teasing smile on his face and winked at ASR making sure khushi din't notice him.
so, Miss Gupta, you have done administration for your under graduation,
yes sir,khushi said.
You wanted to do medicine, then why did you change it to administration,
Khushi frowned at the question and asked, How do you know I wanted to do medicine,?
Arnav immediately bit his tongue and tried to cover up, ahh we have our sources Miss Gupta, and I expect an answer for my question not a question again he said trying his best to sound stern,
I had to support my family financially, studying medicine would take up a lot of time, so I did a course which would get over soon and I would get work soon, she said.
Arnav noticed the tears in her eyes which threatened to fall anytime. He dint want to see those tears and immediately clearing the space he said, okay, you have got the job, you can join by tomorrow, Aman will brief you about my schedule, he said all this in one go and Khushi dint know how to react she was already feeling suffocated from the time she had entered the room with a lot of difficulty she had to control herself from not ogling at him and to top it all his voice sent shivers down her spine and now without any questions he says the job is hers, she feels breathless, and could only afford to nod, not knowing whether what she heard was true.
She got up from her seat and went out mumbling a thank you to him, She found Aman waiting for her outside the cabin, he walked up to her and said, congratulations khushi you did it,now she got more confused, she had not uttered a word how did Aman know that she got the job, when she asked him he simply replied "I know my best friend very well", be here tomorrow by 7 am the office starts at 8 am before ASR comes I'll brief you about everything that he needs you to do. A cab is waiting for you down it will leave you at home, khushi still in trance just nodded and walked out.
Aman entered Arnav's cabin and said sir may I come in,
its Arnav for you Aman and you are all ready in,
Aman chuckled you the great ASR, of whom the entire corporate world is scared of and who is known to be ruthless arrogant and the most shrewd businessman was stunned by just the presence of his love.
Arnav chuckled and said I don't know what she has done to me,
Aman said you were staring at her she would have caught you if not for me
I just could not keep my eyes off her, said Arnav genuinely
she looked stunned when she walked out what did you tell her, asked Aman
hmm....... ya she was actually startled that she got the job and I had not even asked her a question, Arnav said
So now all the fake set up of interview and all has worked, she is your PA are you going to reveal to her that you love her or are you....
No Aman first I want her full fill her dream of doing medicine,
but how is that possible, asked Aman
I don't know but I'll do everything possible for her to complete her dream I want her to get what she wants at any cost I want to return her smile to her,
and will you be able to concentrate on work if she stays with you all the time, Aman asked with a teasing smile
I don't know I'll have to do something about not staring at her, I don't want to scare her, and even if I propose to her now she wont accept it, we both know that, owing to her family status now,
Aman nodded in agreement and with a assuring smile said don't worry Arnav we'll take care of everything she'll be fine, and ya I wanted to ask you why was Sheetal telling she got the job, you were going to give it to khushi, Arnav smirked and said you'll get to know about that tomorrow.
