The day was long over, all the employees had left, including khushi, Aman walked in to find his friend sitting idle staring at the desk opposite to his, where khushi was present a while ago, Aman chuckled and said, Common Arnav she is gone, stop staring.
Arnav composed himself and said nothing like that I was just thinking of something, you sound very happy today, may I ask why?
Khushi ...she is the reason. She called me bhaiyya today. Aman said smiling gladly,
Arnav smiled his rarest smiles and said you are the best brother she can get Aman.
Aman sighed and said its high time we give her, everything she deserves,
I've spoken to a few medical colleges and they say that medicine is best if you study in govt. aided colleges, so it wont be that difficult for us to get an admission for her but the thing is how we are going to make her study there, juggling between office and work is going to be difficult for her,
I know Aman but its necessary she stays close to me, I have a plan in mind, let's first lets send a call letter for her from the college's side and lets see what she decides, Arnav sighed.
Yeah that sounds good, Arnav you know Sheetal is not going to stay quiet right, she would already be plotting something against Khushi, we need to be careful, Aman said.
Yeah Aman, we'll look into it.
Have you told Anjali yet?
Di? No, I don't know how to tell her. I mean she has always been pestering me to have a girlfriend but I just have no idea how to talk to her about Khushi.
Aman chuckled and said it's great to see such a pathetic state of the arrogant Arnav Singh Raizada.
Oh shut up Aman, I've seen how you behave when di is around. I'm far better.
Aman looked at him bewildered,
Arnav said, What?! don't look at me like that, what did you think if you don't tell me I'll never come to know I am not your best friend for no reason Aman, when are you planning to tell di?
I have no idea, I'm scared to tell her, I don't know how she will react, Aman said running his said through his hair.
Arnav giggled and said, don't worry we both are sailing in the same boat.
Both the friends shared a laugh at that.
THE NEXT DAY :
Khushi was arranging all the files needed for the meeting that had to be held in sometime, Aman walked in,
AMAN: Arnav, its done. Khushi can you arrange the conference hall and wait till we come there,
khushi nods her head and walks out carrying the files,
AMAN: Arnav , I've got her admissions ready, she can start her college any time, How do you plan to tell her ?
ARNAV: what are the timings of her colleges ?
AMAN: It's 7:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m,
ARNAV: great then our office hours are till 7 in the evening, once she finishes college she can come here and be till 5 or 6 in the evening, send her the call letter Aman,
Arnav was finally happy that everything was going according to his plans. Aman smiled at his luck struck friend and nodded.
let's move for the meeting Khushi must be waiting, saying this both the men walked out of the cabin.
The day ended as usual,
RINGING OF THE CALLING BELL;
MADHUMATI GUPTA: Who has come so early in the morning, muttering some curses under her breath for disturbing her morning her she started to walk towards the door, then stopped halfway on the track and yelled out for Khushi,
khushi, khushi, come and see who is on the door, she said and continued her prayer.
Khuhsi came rushing hearing her voice and opened the door and saw the postman,
POSTMAN: Who is Khushi ?
KHUSHI: It's me.
POSTMAN:This letter is for you, he gave the letter and rode away on his bicycle leaving a confused Khushi
Who could send me letter, talking to herself absent mindedly she closed the door and walked in and collided with her step-sister.
NAIMA: How many times have I told you not to show me your horrible face early in the morning to me, huh? why don't you ever understand a thing I don't know why I have to tolerate such a good for nothing person in my house now that I have seen your face I'm sure my day is going to go bad, get away from my sight, saying that she walked away.
Khuhsi just walked in to her room and kept the letter away having lost all her mood early in the morning.
