sun-hi sighed, she didn't want jimin walking her home. she didn't want him to see where she lived but the boy had been persistent and she ended up walking with him. it was late now and she was on edge, she had always been scared of the dark and she doubted that would ever change. most people's fear of the dark seemed to fade away when they turned a certain age but to sun-hi the feeling never left. but it wasn't exactly the dark she was scared of, more like what the darkness held. all horrors were set at night.

jimin looked at her and seemed to notice her uneasiness, "are you okay?" he asked in a soft voice as he gentally touched her arm. sun-hi hesistated but nodded, "i just...i have this stupid fear" she chuckled shaking her head not wanting to admit to her childish fear.

"are you...are you scared of the dark?"

sun-hi nodded her head slowly with a shy smile as she waited for him to make fun of her but he didn't, instead he put his arm over her shoulders and smiled faintly at her, "we all have fears, don't worry about it"

sun-hi looked up at him, "whats yours?" jimin shook his head quickly, "i don't really like to speak about it." he said quietly as he quickly looked away as if he was worried she could see straight through him. sun-hi smiled as she quoted what he had said ealier, "it's not okay, it'll help to talk about it."

jimin chuckled rolling his eyes playfully, "i'll tell you some other time." sun-hi stopped walking outside a worn down apartment building looking at the ground, "i can walk the rest of the way, it's getting late you should go home."

"i can't leave you walking alone in the dark, how far is your place from here?"

"don't judge me, okay?" sun-hi mumbled. jimin was a singer, he probably lived in some mansion somewhere with people waiting on him, sun-hi didn't want him to see the small apartment she lived in.

---------------

sun-hi quickly kicked a pile of clothes underneath the sofa bed in the cramped one room apartment. it wouldn't have been that cramped if it weren't for the thousands of random paintings laying on the floor. sun-hi wasn't exactly the neatest person and not having alot of space to live in made it more difficult to keep her stuff neatly packed away but no one usally came to her apartment so she didn't usally worry. a variety of sketches were tapped to the wall and the little furniture that she owned was covered in paint stains.

"i'm sorry, i know this place is a mess." she mumbled as she moved some of her paintings aside making room for him to actually be able to walk without stepping on anything. jimin didn't say anything so she turned to face him to see what he was doing but he was just staring at some of the drawings on the wall. "you're really talented" jimin said as he turned to face her again, "ever consider a career in art?"

sun-hi quickly shook her head, "thanks but...it's just...it's just a..um...a hobby." she quickly turned around walking to one of the corners of the room and opened a squeaky cupboard, "since you're here, do you want some raymaen?" she asked quickly trying to change the subject. her art was personal, it told her story and she didn't really like talking about it.

jimin shook his head, "i'm not hungry, thanks though." sun-hi frowned, she was certain that she had heard his stomach growling ealier, "you know something funny?" sun-hi asked as she walked back to the centre of the room and sat on the arm of the paint stained couch, he just shrugged looking at her before she continued, "i've never seen you eat before, and like i work at a café. i literally see people eat all day."

jimin chuckled as he started to fiddle with his fingers again, "that is ironic" sun-hi just raised an eyebrow at him, "you are eating right?" jimin nodded and checked his watch, "i should go, it's getting late."

"okay, i'll see you some other time then"

"can't i text you later?"

sun-hi chuckled shaking her head, "i'm a twenty two year old waitress living in a place like this, do you really think i can afford a phone?"

jimins cheeks turned bright red, he hadn't even thought of that but sun-hi didn't really seem phased. "bye jimin" she giggled as he left the apartment.
