There he was, walking out of the bus, in the school full of awkward feelings and shy thoughts. Today was the start of the first day of middle school. The air was filled with tense feelings, so thick it could be cut with a knife. The only thing he could think of is if he could make any friends on that day. Walking the hallways was like walking through a room made out of cameras. Never a good start to the day.
Joshua was his name. Never was a good looking guy, but atleast he's friendly. Shy at first, but when you get to know him he can be a fun guy. He gets nervous about his size and tends to hide the fact he is fat. For him, this was the start of something new.
Joshua went walking around the school as a tour of the place. He kept looking down to avoid those eyes staring at him, but it only attracted more attention. As he brisk walked, he ended up in the gym. Joshua looked around and saw a group of people huddled up in one spot on the stage. "What is going on over there? " Joshua thought.
Joshua walked up onto the stage. All he could hear was yelling and cheering. Four figures were in front of him. He looked over and was shocked by what they were doing. They were playing video games!
Joshua tried to let his presence known, but he didn't know these people and who they were. He knew no'one in the school. One of the boys saw Joshua and walked up to him. "Hi, I'm Eric. Want to Smash?" He shouted loudly. Joshua replied nervously, "I guess.."
