Chapter 4: Dating Sim

     As Joshua slaved over his notebook writing down useless info for the future, he noticed Theri was calling for him from the back. Theri raised up her notebook high enough for Joshua to see. It said, " Hey want to go to the bench during break? " Joshua shook his head and pointed at his notebook. "I need to finish up my work, I'll be staying. " Joshua replied sadly.

     As the teacher was done with his lecture, Theri walked up to Joshua's desk to see what he was doing. As she looked over Joshua's shoulder, she asked, "what are you working on? " Joshua replied, "oh nothing much.. I'm just fixing my notebook. " Theri chuckled at Joshua as he worked on the toy. "I'm done! " Joshua said joyfully, "Let's go to the others. "

     As Theri skipped to the bench, some upper classmen went up to her and started picking on her. Joshua just came out of the restroom and saw what was happening. "What should we do with this kitten? " said one of the guys, "Take her cat ears." Then Theri screeched with terror, "JOSHUA!!" Joshua knew he had to do something, but what..?

     Joshua ran towards the upper class men and pushed them out of the way as he grabbed Theri's arm. Joshua and Theri made a sharp turn and hid behind the wall as the bullies ran passed the two. Theri was in tears as she hugged Joshua. After a few minutes the two snuck to the bench, meeting up with the group. Theri finally let go of Joshua and ran to Regina and Lee in tears. Joshua's anti-hug bubble was popped because all the boys in the group jump on Joshua for a hug.

     "Thanks Joshua. I'm so sorry for bringing this upon you." said Theri.  Adrian turned to Joshua and give him a jealous look, knowing that Theri has never given Adrian this kind of attention. Lee took a picture of the whole group and said,"Hey, this looks like a video game I've seen." Everyone looked at Lee and noticed that they have seen something like this before too. "This looks like a dating simulator" they all said together and laughed.
