~CATES POV~
There were tears swelling up in my eyes as I hung up the phone. And by the time I had sank to the ground they were full-on broken sobs. I felt Violet sit next to me and put her arm around my shoulders.
"It's gonna be alright Cate tell me what's wrong" she soothed.
"Everythings not going to be all right" I managed to choke out between sobs.
"Cate tell me what's wrong!" she urged. I raised my head up to look at her. You could tell by the look in her face that she was going to start having a panic attack, which for her is just sitting there soundless and eyes staring at nothing. I tried to tell her what was wrong but everytime I tried too, I just got choked up on another tear. I finally stopped crying after wat seemed a year.
"My mo- mom and d-dad were in a car- car rash and theyre they're DEAD!!!" I screamed the last part I just had to maybe the scream would wake me up from the nightmare I was having. She was completly silent.
"Where are you going to live?" she asked trying not to stumble the words. "Cus cus u can stay with me!" she shouted triumphly.
"I can't I have to stay with my uncle who I've never met before and lives in BLOODY ENGLAND!" I was back to sobbing again. All Violet could do was sit there and rub my back.
"Whe- when will he be here?" she asked crying not to cry too.
"Tommrow" I whispered. The tears trinkled to a stop. I stood up, trying not to fall down again, and some who made it up the stairs and into my room. I heard Violet slowly going up the stairs behind me. Before she could ask what I was doing I answered her "Packing"
I pulled out my suitcase and then my duffel as I stuffed every pair of clothes, shoes, and and other things I had acquired over my 17 years.
"What are you going to do about your bed things?" she asked.
I answered back "Uncle Simon told me he would buy me everything like furniture and bed things"
"Have you ever seen your Uncle Simon before?" she asked curiously.
"Well no actually but apparently he's nevered married and has five sons..." I trailed off.
"Whoa just like whoa" is all Violet was able to get out.
That night Violet slept over at my house for the last time. God I'm really going to miss this house and Violet and.....my mind trailed off. I fell asleep remembering everything I've ever done with my parents and tears streaming down my face.
