Chapter 9- Not with a fizzle but with a BANG!

***Kyra's P.O.V***

"Hurry up Kyra!" Mat says nearly out the door, "Well your not the one carrying most of the drinks" I shout at him. He stopps and gives me a hand. We were doing our science project, BORING. We got to the field and Mat layed out all the different types of coke: Diet coke, normal coke and coke zero. Unfortunatly our budget was cut a bit short so we could only buy 3, so we had to do this right.

 BANG! Our heads both move at the speed of the mentos and coke. Mat puts another mentos in the coke zero BOOM! It sizzles and shoots straight up in the air leaving behind a foamy trail. 

"Dare me to eat the mentos then coke? He smirks at me "Hell no, unless you wanna DIE" I stare at him trying to act serious but end up laughing, He chugs down a bit of coke.....and keeps going. 

"Im gonna do it" he shouts threatening to put a mentos in his mouth "Bet you 100 bucks that you won't do it" I eye ball him.

Without a warning he chucks it in his mouth "100 bucks please" he gurgled "You didn't swallow it!" I shout. He looked disapointed because I knew that he didn't actually swallow the mentos, but either way i'm not giving him $100.

Just as It couldnt get any better there comes a soccer ball hitting him right in the stomach. His eyes widened and looked like a bunch of tennis balls, then you hear a big "GULP!"

"Oh shit" he choked dropping to the floor and rapidly shaking. "Omfg Mat! Are you ok" I run to him looking scared. He continues shaking and his eyes begin to stutter "Holy shit! Mat" Oh no what have I done, I should've stopped him! 

What if he explodes!!! A big laughter inturupts my thought, I look down seeing that it was Matthew bursting into tears from laughing to much.

"You should of seen your face!! You were so scared Kyra" He laughed more standing up. "Mat you asshole, you scared the shit out of me!" I say punching him in the shoulder hard. "Ouch! Hey! Stop!" 

I keep punching him till he had enough "Stop!" he says grabbing me trapping my arms "That wasn't funny" I say looking at him "Yeah you're right.....it was hilarious!" He cracks up. I punch him one more time really hard "Thats my line" I reply.
