Chapter 4

"That's a pretty cool accent. Australian?" Emily asked. "British" Tobias retorted. "Pretty sure the Aussie's are mistaken for us Brit's. Guess everything really is the opposite out in the states" Tobias continued. His time in the USA had been eventful for sure. "I do miss sunny old England" he spoke sarcastically, remarking the always miserable weather. "Anyway, you gonna help me out this coffin, mate" Tobias asked, looking up at the two stood over the wooden box he had been buried in. "Not a zombie, I swear. Or a vamp. Just a med student, who managed to get stuck in... that" Tobias trailed. Emily squinted a little, her gaze moving back to Elliot in confused. Elliot, the same. Peering at Emily, Elliot took a step away from the coffin and the strange man. "Listen, I don't know who you are and I don't care how you managed to fund yourself buried six feet under. Scott? Ever heard that name?" Elliot asked rather bluntly. "If I say yes, will you help me out this box?' Tobias asked, tilting his head a little in distress. Stretching, he leaned back a little once he saw Elliot fling for him. "I'm not screwing around. Have you heard that name before, or not?" Elliot asked, scrunching the collar of Tobias's shirt in his fist, anger forming on his brow as he felt the man mock him. "I mean he's great in Teen Wolf. My Alpha" he spoke on, sarcastically.

Emily pulled Elliot back, shaking her head. "We don't have time for this. Lets go, Eli" Emily scoffed, shaking her head a little longer in dismay as she furrowed her brow. "Okay, maybe I have. Give me a ride out of this place and I'll let you know what I know?" Tobias offered. He'd never heard of a Scott, not one he could remember. But he really needed a ride out of this place. He couldn't even remember how he got here in the first place. "I have class in the morning. I can't ditch. Colleges out here are a lot more pricey than the UK. They're not even that great. Atleast we don't get shot at school in London" he mocked, referring to the terrible gun laws in America taking the spot light at the moment. Or atleast from before he had been thrust into a hole in the ground. Wincing as he forced himself out of the box, Tobias held onto his shoulder, kneeling over in pain as he felt a strain in his calf. He couldn't remember much of the memories leading up to him being trapped in a box in the ground, but what he did remember, he wouldn't wish upon his worst enemies. Pushing his longer block locks behind his ear, Tobias wiped the dried up blood from his chin, touching his lower lip to see how deep the cut was. Watching Elliot and Emily stare at him, he showed the two his blood over his thumb. "Told you I wasn't a vampire. I wouldn't bleed if I were" he spoke on, mockingly. A little uncomfortable with the two staring, Tobias mumbled a few words to himself. "Alright mates, who's driving?" he asked, throwing his arms over their shoulders to make them as uncomfortable as they had been making him, and to conceal the fact that he could barely walk due to the excruciating pain from whatever he had encountered to his body before being trapped in a box.

Upon arriving back at the college, Elliot and Emily had left Tobias in the med-bay. Infuriated at the fact that they had gotten nowhere closer to finding who had killed Scott, Elliot had decided to head to the bar to grab a few drinks before making his way back to the morgue... or as he called it, his secret Scott murder solving lair. Emily had decided to head back to her dorm before stopping by the med bay to check on Tobias. "I've never seen you around here before. I know it's a large institute, but you're not really someone a person misses" she pointed out, cocking a brow. Tobias listened to her questions, shaking his head. "I transferred a week ago. I've been in a few classes and some residency roads. Hopefully now the battle scars will attract some ladies" Tobias joked, referring to the cuts he had over his body from whatever he had encountered before being trapped in the box. Tobias was always a comedic person. He didn't enjoy being dragged down by woes and worries, but something about this experience continued to haunt him. Watching Emily read his charts, squinting as he watched some of the staff around the medical center comment on how she was treating her patient. "You're a medical student too? What year?" he asked her, hoisting himself up on his bed a little. "Does my chart say anything to explain why I was down there?" Tobias asked, sighing in disappointment. Asking to see his chart, the brown haired, green eyes man laid back, looking through the levels on his chart, squinting as he spotted numbers out of the ordinary. Becoming a little concerned, but mostly confused as to how any of this had happened, he placed the clipboard aside him on the bed, resting his hands on his lap. "Who's Scott? Your friend kept asking if I knew a Scott. Friend? Boyfriend? Brother?" Tobias asked, cocking his brow. Shrugging once Emily said it was none of his business, Tobias let it go, turning his attention back to the television stuck in the corner of his med room.
