Chapter: Seven

Two months before Daniell's death:
Daniell and Eric were sitting in the garden of their University. Daniell was using his laptop and completing some work. Eric was sitting there using his phone.
"Finally! It's done." Daniell said closing his laptop.
"Good! By the way what were you doing?" Eric asked.
"Hazel's Managment assigment." Daniell replied.
As they were talking Frost came and sat next to Eric.
"Where's Valerie? You were with him." Eric asked.
"Valerie was in cafeteria I think. She was with Hazel." Frost replied.
Eric stood up taking his books.
"I am going to see Valerie." He said.
"Okay!" Frost and Daniell said.
When Eric went away. Frost said:
"Dainell! Valerie had decided to give a suprise birthday party to Eric, his birthday is on this weekend."
"Oh that's great! So what's the plan?" Daniell asked.
"Okay! So the plan is that we will go to his apartment on saturday as he was telling that he had some work at his parent's place. So when he will be away we will decorate his room. Valerie will bring cake." Frost explained to him.
"Oh that's great! But you were telling me that he never invite anyone in his apartment. Do you know his passcode?" Daniell asked.
"Yeah! That's the main problem. But I'll do something." Frost replied.
  On Saturday it was 3:00pm, Hazel was at Valerie's place. She was in lounge playing with Mac. After a while, Valerie was walking down from stairs in a blue dress. The dress was plain with full sleeves, the dress was long till her knees. She was wearing black pointed heels.
"Wow! You are looking fab my girl." Hazel said.
"I feel it's a bit extra. You are wearing just a normal skirt and a plain green top. I'm telling you it's looking extra." Valerie said looking at her dress.
"It's totally fine. Eric will love this." Hazel said and gave her a smile.
On the other side, Frost was calling Daniell as he was driving towards Eric's apartment.
"Where the hell is he?" Frost said as he threw his phone on the seat. When Frost went to his place he tried many passcodes but none of them worked. He called Valerie.
"Hey! We are on our way I think it will take only 10 minutes." Valerie said.
"Yea yea. Valerie what is your birth date?" Frost asked.
"13th October. But why?" Valerie replied.
"I can't find his password. I have tried many combinations." Frost said.
"Hahah. Okay then try this maybe it works." Valerie said as she canceled the call.
Frost tried her birth date and it worked.
"FINALLY!!' Frost said.
Frost entered in the apartment, he turned on the lights of lounge then he entered in Eric's bedroom.
"So this your room." As Frost said he saw something which should not be in the room of Eric. On the side desk of his bed there were two guns. Frost hold the guns and he saw that both were loaded. He was a bit shocked then he opened his cupboard to hid those guns but there were some more guns and a bag which was full of money. He hid the guns in the cupboard. When he opened the side desk he saw two phones. He was shocked by all these things. He hid all the things even the extra phones. Suddenly the bell rang, Frost locked the door of bedroom and ran towards the door. It was Valerie,Hazel and Daniell.
"Where the hell were you?" Frost asked Daniell.
"Sorry! my phone battery was dead and I was getting ready." Daniel replied.
"I called him thousand times." Frost explained to Valerie and Hazel.
"Hahah it's okay. He is always late." Hazel chuckled.
"It's in his DNA being late." Valerie sniggered.
"OKAYYY!! This one is nice." Daniell saidwith a light laugh.
"Let's decorate now." Frost said.
They brought some helium ballons of multi colours and a happy birthday ballon. Frost and Hazel set all those. While Valerie took out the cake from the box and put some candles on it. The cake was white cream fruit cake, on the top of the cake there was some peaches, pineapples and some berries. Daniell came to her and took a strawberry from the cake.
"Danyyy!! Get lost!!" Valerie shouted in an irritated tone. She was trying to slap him but he dodged her and laughed.
"Okay! Okay! I'm not gonna destory your boyfriend's birthday cake." Daniell said while laughing.
"Danyyy!! Today I am gonna kill you." Valerie said as she ran towards him.
After a while there was sound of someone entering the passcode. All four of them started looking at each other. Hazel ran and turned off all the lights. She let turned on one bulb which was a very light yellow bulb which was in his lougne and  then she, Daniell and Frost hid behind the sofa. While Valerie stood infront of the table where the cake was. Eric opened the door and entered in the louge. Eric was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. Valerie lighted the candles and start singing the Birthday song. Eric was suprised and shocked.
"OH MY GOD! Valerieee!!" Eric said with a big smile on his face.
As she completed the song.
"Hurry! Make a wish and blow these candles. They are melting." Valerie said with a full smile.
"Okay! Okay!" Eric closed his eyes made a wish and then blew the candles.
Eric fed a slice of cake to her, while Valerie smudged the cake on his face.
"Hey! Hey! Don't do this." Eric said laughing.
"Hahha okay. So do you like the suprise?" Valerie asked.
"I like you more." Eric said and gave her a warm smile.
"Same.... but tell me?" Valerie asked again.
"Yea! I love it but not more than you." Eric said with a big smile.
"By the way! You dressed up differently today. You are looking beautiful. This colour suits you." Eric smirked.
"Thank you!" Valerie smiled.
Eric took the cake from her hands and put it on the table and came close to her. While they were in a romantic mood. Daniell said in a lower voice:
"We should leave them. We should go back home. We should not come here at the first place."
"I am regertting now." Hazel said.
"Same." Frost said.
Eric looked towards the sofa.
"Is someone out there?" Eric said.
"No! There's no one." Valerie said.
Eric looked towards her and put his hand on her cheek and kissed her. He was kissing her and suddenly lights were turned on. Hazel and Daniell got up from behind the sofa and Frost turned on the lights.
"What the hell are you guys doing here?" Eric said again suprised.
"This was my second suprise." Valerie said with a light laugh.
"So you knew all this?" Eric said.
"YES! It was all her plan." Hazel said.
"Hey! Happy birthday bro!" Frost said and hugged him.
"Happy Birthday!" Daniell said he also hugged him.
"By the way you both can contiune. We can leave if you want to." Hazel laughed.
"Yea! Please!" Eric sniggered.
They all started laughing. Frost was also smiling as he was a bit distrubed. After a while, they were sitting in lounge, talking and eating some refreshments.
"Where are my gifts?" Eric asked.
"Oh! We forget that. Here is my gift." As Frost handed him a black coloured hoddie, Hazel gave him a watch, Daniell gave him a T-shirt while Valerie gave him a bracelets. It was gold colour baraclet with two leaves carved on it's centre. Valerie showed him her hand and there was a same on her hand.
"Couple bracelets! Cutee." Hazel said putting both hands on her mouth.
"No! It was buy one get one free." Daniell giggled.
"Shut up dany!" Eric said with smile.
"It's soo cute. Thanks Valerie." Eric said giving her a smirk.
"Your welcome." Valerie said.
"By the way how did you guys find my passcode?" Eric asked.
"It's a long story." Frost replied.
"No! then please don't tell us." Daniell said.
"You just shut up okay? You know I called him a thousand times but"
"Oh please! It's the third time I have to listen this. No please!" Valerie said.
"Hahah! But tell me Frost." Eric asked.
"I tried a lot of combinations but nothing worked then I thought it probably Valerie's birth date so I called her and finally after 1 hour I succeed in this." Frost replied.
"Hmm!" Eric said.
"But let me tell you one thing Eric. I am your best friend from kindergarden and this girl's birth date is your passcode. I am very disappointed with you."
"Why are you always crying?" Hazel said.
They started laughing.
After a while everyone left but Frost was still at Eric's place. Both were sitting in lounge drinking beer at that time when no one was there Frost asked:
"What are you doing these days?"
"What do you mean?" Eric asked.
"I saw everything in your room." Frost replied.
"I'm talking about the guns, the money." Frost said with a bit rough tone.
