It was the last day of university. Hazel was walking towards the football ground where Valerie was sitting on the bench watching the new football team playing. Hazel came towards her and said:
"Here you are! I've been looking for you in the whole university."
"Oh! Sorry. I was sitting here watching the new team. Daniell's favorite sport. Remember how much he idealize Messi." Valerie said as she was watching towards the football match with a doleful look.
"Yeah! I remember. How can I forget those days when we have to watch all the final matches with him." Hazel said wanly.
"Hahah yeah! And when finally his dad gifted him Messi's jersey on his birthday. He was so overwhelmed that day." Valerie said.
"Haha yeah, he was on cloud 9 that day." Hazel started laughing.
"It's our last day here. I wish he was with us." Valerie said with tears in her eyes.
"Yeah. But he is with us. I can feel him, he is around us." As Hazel was saying, Frost came from behind of Valerie and Hazel.
"So finally it ends here. Happy Independence Day girls." Frost said in a joyful voice.
Hazel and Valerie were both suprised as they look back
"Where were you Frost? I've been looking for you and Valerie since last two hours. Then I saw Valerie so I sit here."
"I got a call from my dad. He is coming back this weekend." Frost said.
"He was coming back last weekend also. If I am not wrong." Hazel said.
"Haha yeah." Frost said.
"But you guys forgot that his father came last month for a week." Hazel said in a sarcastic way.
"Hahaha Yeah how can I forget that." Frost laughed.
"Guys! I was thinking on graduation day, how about we go for dinner together? Because Hazel will be leaving for London the next morning." Valerie asked.
"Really? You will be leaving the next morning?" Frost asked.
"Yeah!!" Hazel replied.
"I'll leave after a week. Should we go together?" Frost asked.
"Yeah! I think that would be great. I'll tell my brother then that I'll come with you." Hazel replied.
"Take me with you pleasee Hazel." Valerie said making a cute face.
"No!" Hazel laughed.
"We can take her if she can fit in the suitcase." Frost laughed.
"Ha ha ha! So funny." Valerie said.
"So what about the dinner?" Valerie asked.
"I'm in." Hazel replied.
"Same but Hazel will pay." Frost laughed.
"These were not the terms and conditions." Hazel said watching Valerie.
"Yeah! These are the terms and conditions." Valerie laughed.
"Okay! Whatever!" Hazel said.
A week later, students with their parents and close friends were sitting in the auditorium waiting for the graduation ceremony to start. Valerie was sitting with her mother and Mac. Her father did not came as he was out of city for some work. Beside Valerie, Hazel and Frost were sitting with their parents. Eric was sitting two rows behind them with his parents. Eric was watching Valerie but when suddenly Valerie turned around Eric started looking towards the stage. Through out the ceremony whenever she turned around, Eric was watching her. It reminded her of the first day of university.
After the ceremony, everyone was in university's garden taking pictures with their parents and friends.
"Valerie! Valerie! Come here." Hazel said, she was standing with Frost talking selfie. Valerie came towards them, they took some pictures. After a while, Frost saw Eric he was talking to his parents.
When Eric left Valerie, Frost friendship with Eric was changed because it was not just Valerie he left. He also left Frost, they talked only when they need something. But today, Frost said:
"Hey Eric!" As he came towards him.
"Hello! How are you?" Eric asked.
"I'm good." Frost said.
After an awkward silence Eric asked:
"So what's your plan after graduation?"
"Leaving next week. Dad said that I should supervise all the matters of London's branch." Frost replied.
"Oh that's great" Eric said.
"What about you?" Frost asked
"Me? For public or.." Eric asked.
"Eric stop this all. We can find a way to solve this mess." Frost said in angrily.
"Are you mad? Speak in a low voice! I think we should talk about this somwhere else." Eric said.
"Why are you even doing this? I don't get you." Frost said
"I have told you a thousand time but you don't get me. So it's better to leave this matter. It's my problem and I can handle this." Eric said and leave towards his car.
"Yea! And you are handling this very professionally all these years." Frost angrily shouted."So that's how these four years ended. I don't know what will happen next but i hope that I wouldn't lose my loved ones anymore." Valeria was laying on the couch which was placed in the balcony and writing in a journal. Two hours after she sees off Hazel and Frost as they were leaving for London. She was not the kind of a person who wrote daily dairies but she had made a journal when she was fourteen years old and wrote sometimes in it.
After Hazel and Frost left she became too lonely because in these four years there wasn't a single day in which she didn't talk to Hazel and Frost. As now everyone were busy in their lives, they rarely talk. One month later, finally Valeria got a job in a good travel company. She was appointed in managment department. It's been one week she was employed there.
One night Valerie was sleeping. It was around 1am when she got a call from Frost.
"Hello! Valerie?" Frost said.
"Yea! Frost is everything okay?" Valerie asked.
"No! I mean yes but no." Frost replied.
"What are you saying?" Valerie asked.
"Listen Valerie! Eric is leaving around 3am tonight through ship.." Frost replied.
"Through ship? Where? Why?" Valerie interrupted Frost.
"I just talked to him. He is leaving for Mexcio and I don't think so that we would be able to meet him soon. I shouldn't have told you this but Valerie! Eric had be doing something very wrong fro last four five years but you should met him for the last time. I know you love him, I will never forgive him but meet him. Say goodbye and all those things that you have been trying to tell him since last year. Maybe this will be the last time you will meet him." Frost said.
"What he had done? Frost!!" Valerie asked.
"He will tell you maybe one day. If he have a chance." Frost replied in a low voice.
"But.." Valerie said but Frost interrupted her.
"Go Valerie!" Frost canceled the call.
For a moment Valeria was numb. Then she picked her bag and left to meet Eric.
