So what do you know about him, avni interrogated him, from him I am mentioning about the man from the bar.
I asked you something, avni said tilting her head to one side and to be honest by looking at her face even I am getting goose bumps.
What is this girl.
Who is she,is she the one who slept with her hands encircling my hand that night, is she the girl from whom the whole department is terrified, is she one who had ice cream with me on beach that night or the one who is interrogating one of vidyut's men right now with no emotion or mercy on her face. It's impossible to know her real shade, what is she trying to hide. Why is she like that. My chain of thought was broken by a scream , startled I looked in front me only to find the man's neck hung low on one of his shoulders and blood  ozing out of his mouth with some blood dripping on the floor. My eyes traversed to avni who's back was in my direction and her knuckles which have few cuts over it now.
""He is just a supplier , take him to the police station and extract out as much as you can. ""She said in her ever so serious acp tone. She turned around and went out of the room and I indicated dd to take him. He quickly unfastened his ropes and with the help of two constables took him away.
I moved out of the room and headed in the direction she went ,hoping i would find her. I crossed the balcony only to realise afterwards that there she was sitting on The boundary of her balcony with her legs hung down from her balcony. I silently settled myself besides her ,silently because I didn't wanted to be a dead man already.
Unable to figure out where to start the Conversation from I decided upon saying something dumb really dumb which I realised afterwards
""The view of your balcony is really nice.""

She turned towards me with amusement in her eyes
""Indeed barren land with few trees like patches of green paint is a nice view""

""But it's quite silent""

""Yes it is""

""You confuse me avni, you really do.""
She looked at me with those dark black eyes of hers which are looking a shade darker at this hour of night
I sighed and continued, ""that day the girl who was hugging Rhea was so happy ,so content , her eyes said that all they needed was that hug from her sister nothing else. The girl who was sitting by the window sill, the girl who said she didn't mind having ice cream."" She giggled and I let out a heavy breath and continued, ""the girl who was interrogating the man was completely different her eyes were dead of emotions , I couldn't see anything in them except for  vastness which had nothing except for darkness in them."" I could constantly feel her gaze upon me but I was looking straight in front of me on the barren land ."" You know what I found lot of similarity in this view in front of me with the look in that  girl's eye when she was punching him. ""

I turned my gaze around towards her only to find her looking at me. She looked at what was a point of interest for me seconds ago that barren land and continued

""I am not normal neil ,I never could be normal, Outer shades are vibrant and cheery but as you move inside the forbidden palace it turns dark hiding the darkest of secrets , darkest of lies and darkest of truths, ""
she turned her gaze towards me , ""and it's better if you see these outer shades only like the world sees .""

I was looking in her eyes and she was looking in mine , no one dared to look away maybe both of us was afraid that we might loose a important sight if we looked away.

""What if I want to look inside the forbidden palace""
. I said not knowing what I was saying. Her eyes which were just like the barren land in front of us was no more barren , it was green but before I could have enjoyed the greenery it was gone . She moved her eyes away from me and looked down for a second before looking back at my direction and said
""Than I would say be cautious Mr khanna because you don't know what you might find inside.""

She turned behind on her butt and jumped into her balcony and moved toward the door while I sat right there right in that position contemplating my words and action and most importantly contemplating her words.
Just then I heard a voice calling out my name I turned around to find avni was still at the threshold.
""Wanna
Come in, its 10 past midnight and it's also getting cold. ""
I nodded and went inside securely locking her glass partion between living room and balcony.
"""Waise I won't mind a cup of coffee. She said rubbing her hands on her arms ."""
""You want me to make it. ""I asked her pointing a fingre towards my chest
""Yup, waise I can make coffee I just offered you this chance so that you don't feel like a guest, you should get homely feeling na.""
""Ooohhhh. You can tell me that you don't know how to make coffee.""

Her face turned into complete o before she smacked my arm and we made our way to her kitchen.
