I instructed Ali on the call , I just told him to not to tell anything to rhea . I know her ,she will break down .

I moved towards avni's bedroom, she was lying there on her bed sleeping probably due to medicines .

"Neil", I turned around to see Kevin
"Yes"
"I am going back home and I will leave doctor on my way , I actually threatened him to come here at this time of the night,I would have stayed but my daughter she is al..."
"No worries Kevin, thanks for coming, I am here with avni anyways you go and take care of your daughter", I cutted him in between

He gave me a nod with his ever so calm and charming smile and went away.

No wonder he always seemed more mature then all all of us, he has a 5 year old daughter and I feel so bad that he had to leave her back all alone just because this little headache lying on the bed scared the shit out of me in every literal sense.

I turned around and sat on the corner of bed besides her head carefully not to hurt her by pulling her hairs.

She was lying there on the ground and everything just stopped for me.
I know she is irritating but at the same time cute as hell...wait..aghhhhh.
I stepped away from her and turned around to look at me in the mirror on her dressing table.
I knew she was affecting me in ways I don't appreciate. She was weak very weak from insides, more like she was broken from God knows what, it looks like I am not the only broken one in this room.
She is the castle stones , lifeless, emotion less in front of other but when you see deep inside through the darkness of her eyes you will see a small girl sitting somewhere deep scared that if she came out someone will break her, scared that if someone saw her she will break.
She is like that lost kid in hazy , stormy day, who is lost,is wandering in every possible direction avoiding everything that would hurt her, waiting for a hand to hold but never holds any hand scared that that hand will pull her even more in the storm.
I turned around when I heard some grumbling, Avni was mumbling something deep in her sleep.
Her mumbling grew into clear voices and I ran to her side , I placed my hand on her head, patting it and then with a sudden screem she jerked up .

"Avniii," I whispered near her ears, she turned around to look at my face her eyes were moving from and to every nook and corner of my face with her face only few centimetres away from mine As if her brain was still trying to recognise me and next moment I know was when she was hugging me , she was constantly trying to grow the hug deeper relaxing her arms and again tighting it around me. My hands moved and I hugged her . As my hands touched her back her hands stopped to do their movements and she hid her face in my shoulder,her uneven breaths fanning my shoulders.

"Avni..", I called her softly and she just shook her head in my shoulder still saying nothing. She was in shock.

"Avni you are al.."

"Neil ,Neil maaa... Ayesha maa.....him.....away..........him........Neil maaa........I...I... fought...."

"Shhhhh. Avni I am here cool down".my hand moved up and down onher back trying to sooth her.

"Shhhhh"

"Neil ..... Ma ......"

"Avni she is ok, don't worry Neela ma is ok."

"Nahi, Neil...he ...ma...ayesha maa..Neil....,"till now I was also rocking her to and fro to calm her.

"Avni , ayesha ma is also ok she is fine",
I broke the hug and held her face between my hands making her look into my eyes, her sheild was down she was no  more ACP Avni Parikh , she was just Avni ,scared , much like a kid, Avni , Avni I thought she is, Avni I saw sometimes, my Avni.
Her eyes again started to move in every direction and she stood up and cleared her throat.
"Neil.." , she looked here and there as if embarrassed while I looked at her still on bed with amusement.
"I am going to bathroom", she said and rushed towards her bathroom.

Ok who told me she is terrifying she is....cute.i smiled to myself but next moment my smile disappeared, aghhhhh, Shit shit shit , Neil have you lost it.
