Mum and I went around to your house today, to see how your parents were holding up.
They aren’t
You’re mum barely spoke, and when she did, it was a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
Your dad tried to fake a few smiles, but I saw right through him.
I went to up to your room. It’s exactly the same
It still had posters everywhere and smelt of cinnamon
I lay on your bed and closed my eyes, your pillow still smelt of you.
I miss how you smelt.
