Chapter One

[ Y/N's P.O.V ]

I closed up the shop and turned to get into my car, it was pitch black and I couldn't see a thing. All I could do is use the torch on my phone which wasn't that bright. When I pulled out my car keys I heard a branch snap, the store I worked in was near a woods and apparently it was haunted. I didn't believe it though. I turn to the woods and squint my eyes to see purple glowing eyes, my eyes widen as I try to put my car keys in the car.

I finally unlock the car and open the door, I sit in the car and see my car keys on the floor. I quickly get up and pick them up. I look to the woods and see no glowing purple eyes, I panic thinking it's closer. I jump in my car and shut the door. I took a deep breath and looked to the passenger seat. There it was... the thing with the glowing eyes. I screamed and struggled to open the door. 'It's locked!' I thought. I backed up against the door as the thing made itself comfortable.

It switched on the lights and I was able to have a proper look at him. I had a chance to examine it. The thing had pitch black eyes, which had a purple glow to them. It had purple horns and fluffy ears, it had a long purple tail also. It's arms and hands were black. It had brown hair and a blue hoodie.

"Y-your not going to kill me?" I whimpered "Nope" the thing said "Why are you here then?" I asked catching my breath. "Oh, no reason. I just saw you and wanted to come say hi" I nodded.

"I'm Tom by the way..." he said "Oh, I'm (Y/N)" I said to him. "(Y/N)... what a pretty name" he said making me blush lightly. "You've gotten used to me quite quickly, (Y/N). That's a new one" he smiled. "I've seen some crazy shit in my days" I told him earning a nod from him. "So, where we headed?" He asked me. "Well... home, I guess?" I said making it sound like a question. "Cool, where's that?" He asked "My house is in London" I told him. His ears perked up suddenly making me jump slightly.

"You okay?" I asked him. "Y-yeah..." he told me sighing and putting his hands to his face. I stayed silent for a while. He then put his hands down and looked at me "Okay, let's go there" he said "W-Wait a minute! Your not coming with me! How can I trust you!?" I ask him "I don't know, just trust me?" He told me "Well, you haven't killed me yet... I guess that I can trust you" I say staring up the car. "Why do you wanna come with me anyways?" He told me he's gonna tell me when we get home.

[ An Hour Later ]

I got out of the car and so did Tom. "So, why do you wanna come with me?" I asked him as I walked to the front of my house and unlocked my front door. "Uh... well I need a home and uh" he began stuttering but I interrupted him "No, I'm happy living by myself thanks! And I'm not living with a demon!" I said to him. "Well you don't have a choice!" He said walking past me into the house. "Hey!" I shouted.  "What are you doing, Tom!?" I said closing the door behind me.

"Cool house! I like the colour [ Favourite Colour ]" He said looking around. We were in the lounge area, he jumped onto the sofa and looked at me "So... what are you?" I asked him. "I'm a monster, duh" he said pointing to his ears. "Cool..." I say "So uh... how long are you staying here?" I asked him "I don't know... if you don't mind my company maybe forever" he told me. "Wait... WHAT!?" I yelled "Yeah, If your fine with me living with you I'll stay" I jump in "Yeah, more like 'I'm gonna stay whether you like it or not" I say crossing my arms.

[ The Next Day ]

I woke up and walked downstairs and saw Tom fast asleep on the sofa. "Wake up!" I yell pushing him off the sofa. "Oof! That hurt!" He complained. "Dude, it's like 10 am!" I said "Shouldn't you be at work?" He asked "No, that was my last day..." I sighed "Huh? What do you mean?" He asked "Some bitch took my job away from me" I say walking to the kitchen as he followed me. "That's not nice" he said "Yeah. I mean, I see why she did it. I got payed £40 a day. She probably slept with the boss for the job" I told him "Ooh, tea sis"  he said "Excuse me?" I asked him "Sorry, I've heard people said that" he said.

I opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water and drank it. I handed it to Tom "Want some?" I asked. "Sure" He said taking the bottle and drinking it all. "Jesus, your thirsty as fuck" I said. I then went and took some cake. "I'm gonna eat this [ Favourite Cake ] you can't eat any" I told him walking off with the cake.

"Hey! That's no fair!" He shouted and started chasing me. I tripped and dropped the cake. "Haha!" Tom laughed and grabbed the cake "No! My friend made me that at her wedding!" I cried as he ate a slice. I jumped up and pushed him against the wall. "That's my cake! I was gonna give you a slice anyways" I whined putting my head to his chest. "Haha! Too bad!" He yells runs off from me, knocking me over. "Hey!" I shouted. Chasing him "Fine! You eat it all!" I whined falling to the floor. He laughed evilly.

"Aw! Don't be like that" he said kneeling down to my level. "Here..." he said taking a slice of cake and handing it to me. I take it and took a bite sitting up "See? We're getting along just great!" He said "We're gonna live together I can tell!" He smiled "Right...?" He frowned looking at me "Uh... yeah..." I smile back "Thanks!" He said hugging me blush and hug back.
