I woke up the next morning to an empty house. Ansley and her parents must have gone to work. I packed up all my things and went home. My parents were packing up all of our luggage in the car. We had about an hour before we had to leave for London. I walked into my room to get one last look around because I wasn't gonna see it for two whole months. I was gonna miss the comfort of my own bed, but let's be real. Who really cares?! I was gonna be in London!

"Courtney let's go! We need to be at the airport. We leave in like thirty minutes!" My mom shouted from the car.

I ran up the stairs grabbing a couple of things on my way. I jumped in the car, plugged in my headphones, and just laid back until we got to the airport. When we pulled up we unloaded all of the luggage and started for the plane. We rushed through security as fast as we could. We finally made it to the plane just in time for them to close the doors and get ready for take off. I had a huge fear of heights so I was really nervous about flying. I walked to my seat and sat all my things in a cozy little place. The pilot came on over the speakers. "Hey Everyone. This is your pilot speaking. Please fasten your seatbelts and get ready for take off. We will be arriving in London at exactly 7:00 AM"

I knew this was gonna be a long ride and I had a bit of a headache so I figured a nap would do some good for me. The plane had already taken off, we had just started settling in the air so I felt much safer. I laid my head back and closed my eyes. Before I knew it I was asleep.

"Courtney.... Courtney! Get up and look out of your window. We're arriving in London" My dad said shaking me.

That was literally the best nap I've ever had. Why he had to wake me up from it? I don't know. I was enjoying myself. It was definitely worth it though. When I looked out that window I was in shock. I have never seen a more beautiful place. It was simply amazing. Every little detail was so perfect. The British flag waving in the wind everywhere. The double decker buses were my favorite. It was such a fascinating place. It was definitely nothing like America. It was different. Not a bad different but a good one.

The plane landed and everyone got off. We went to go collect our luggage. People were greeting us left and right. It was so nice. The accents were simply amazing. We grabbed our luggage and headed for the door. When I looked up there was a man in a suit holding a sign that read "Evans Family."

"There's our ride!" My dad said smiling.

"Did you seriously get a Limo?! No way!!" I started running for the limo. It was so nice inside. It had leather interior and a TV. This trip was going to be amazing!

Arriving at our summer flat, my dad had bought one so that we could visit anytime we wanted, I saw some kids playing. It was cute. They were running around playing soccer. I hated sports but I never really minded watching them. They were interesting.

We headed up to our flat and unloaded everything. Once I had everything settled in my room I walked out into the living room to find my parents holding home magazines. They were planning on remaking the whole place so it would be more like home to us than some strange place.

"You guys have fun with that! I'm taking a nap." I chuckled turning around heading back to the room.

"Okay. We'll come and wake you up around lunch time." Mom shouted back as I curled up under the covers.

Finally a nap. I've been looking forward to sleep for quite some time now.
