Emily's pov

Just then the door opened and standing there was my mum.

"Mum"

"Oh my god Emily" she pulled me into a hug. When she let go she turned to Ashton and didn't look happy.

"How dare you take my Emily away, who do you think you are?"

"Mum what you doing?"

"It's ok Em, I can answer for myself. In a way I did take Emily away but she agreed to come because we needed to get away from this place and I'm actually her boyfriend now"

My mum just stood there starring at us.

"I think we should go inside mum, I've got a lot to tell you"

We sat down and before I could start she started hounding me with questions.

"Why did you go? Was it because of the police cause you said you weren't in trouble? How come your with Ashton I thought he was your tutor?"

"Mum just be quiet please I can explain, all your questions will be answered in what I'm about to say. What I'm about to tell you goes back to my last school and the real reason I wanted to leave. I'm gonna say now that I'm sorry if any of this upsets you"

Here I go, everything that has happened that my mum doesn't know about coming out, I hope she isn't to mad.

"It all started when dad left, I started acting bad at school, detentions, getting into fights. I managed to stop you from finding out by getting rid of letters from school and hanging up on school when they rang. Then I met this boy called Danny, he was what you would call a bad boy. We started dating and I really liked him and we used to have fun, I used to skip lessons to meet him. You see mum he was older than me by a few years and didn't go to school. That's when I started dressing in black skinny jeans and band tees because I wasn't this 'good girl' anymore but I didn't want to hurt you. I used to sneak out of the house for him and I did up until recently, but then he changed and I didn't like it. He was horrible towards me and I didn't love him anymore and I tried to break up with him but he wouldn't let me. My behaviour got so bad at school cause I was taking it out on everyone else I realised I needed to stop and move, I thought this would get rid of Danny but I was wrong. I told you that the teachers weren't good cause I knew you would move me because of that. Then when I met Ashton I started falling for him but I knew I couldn't because of Danny, he didn't like me having friends he didn't know especially a boy. When I went out with Ashton that time I told Danny I was sick but I think he turned up but used a fake name was it George"

"It was him?"

"Mum I haven't finished. Anyway me and Ashton were having so much fun with each other but Danny saw all of it. When he came back here and stayed the night and no it's not what you think mum I just needed someone with me. Then I broke up with him with Ashton's help but he told Ashton he would kill me, him and Ashton's three friends who I'm friends with. At the end of school he managed to kidnap us all with his friends help and then pulled a gun on Michael, one of our friends, Ashton had managed to get his hands free and got the gun off Danny. But Danny pulled out a knife and ran at Ashton so Ashton just pulled the trigger and shot him in the stomach. We called the police and everything and they said he wouldn't make it, so Danny is dead and we just had to get away so we've been staying with Ashton's mates and now we are just passing through"

I stopped and waited for my mum to answer she just sat there and was starring at me. Then her face went red and she looked angry.

"Your no daughter of mine, all that stuff that's not my Emily. It's you all of this is you Ashton"

"No it's Danny who did this mum not Ash"

"Why couldn't you of just told me about it all and I could of helped"

"Because I knew you would react like this and I didn't want to disappoint you"

"Well you have so get out, get out now!!"

"Mum?"

"I'm not your mum"

I started crying and Ashton tried to defend me.

"She's been through a lot we both have and your not helping her"

"I don't care she's no daughter of mine now go.....NOW!"

I ran out the door with Ashton following. I got in the car and was crying.

"She hates me Ash, she hates me"

"No she doesn't Em, she's just in shock"

"No she's not you saw her please just drive to Michael's, we will stay there for a couple of days and see the boys then leave"

Ash just nodded and drove to Michael's. My mum hated me, I hate myself for doing that to her but she doesn't know how hard it's been for me. I was looking out the window when I saw something......is that Danny? It can't be he's dead.
