Aubrey:

I feel so bad about what I said to Beca. I know now that she was trying to help me. And after the other girls made me clean that mess up, I knew I had to say sorry. I can only hope Beca will accept my apology. If she doesn't, I won't blame her at all. I was the worst I've ever been. I know I should go to her room and say sorry, but oh my God the thought is so scary. Beca Mitchell's dorm is something I've only seen once, but she has a new dorm now, one she doesn't share with Kimmy Jin. The thought alone of Beca Mitchell's new dorm intimidates me even more than the thought of her old one. I don't know what I'm expecting, bats and vampire posters and creepy stuff, but the thought still worries me.

A paper ball hits me on the head. I look across the classroom and see Chloe looking at me. "Open it" she mouths at me. I open the paper ball and smooth out the crumpled paper. It says "Yes, you should go to her dorm" I look at Chloe, wide eyed. How did she know? She grins at me. "Ginger genius!" I mouth.

After class, I run up to Beca's new dorm. I tap hesitantly on the door. "Who is it?" Beca's voice calls out. I haven't heard it for a while and it's a shock to my system. "It's Aubrey" I say. There's a pause, and then the door opens. I get straight to it. "I'm so sorry Beca. What I did was so awful and I was such a bitch. Amy told me you only wanted to help me, so I should be thanking you." I look down at the floor.

To my surprise, I feel Beca's skinny arms wrapping around me. "It's okay," she says. "I forgive you." I put my arms round her. "Really? I mean, I don't really deserve it." I tell her. She smiles. "I always thought you were a good leader for us. Under all the control freak stuff." We both laugh.

"Did you know all girl acapella groups are the most popular?" I ask her.

"That sounds like bullshit." She says, and laughs.
