After I graduated from Barden, I finally made it to LA. I'm working as a DJ, and I'm really popular. It's amazing, even better than I thought it would be.
I miss everyone so much though. The only Bellas I keep in touch with are Amy, and of course, Chloe. I could never lose touch with Chlo. Amy works at a zoo, from what I heard, giving kids talks on kangaroos and crocodiles. Chloe works in a kids hospital, which is perfect for her because she's so kind and bubbly and loving.
Jesse scores movies now, just like he wanted to, and Benji and the other Trebles sing the songs that he writes. They all got to stick together.
It sucks that I don't know what the other Bellas are doing. Stacie, Cynthia Rose, Lilly, Aubrey, all of them are so talented, they must be doing something awesome.
I get into my car. Sometimes when I need to think or I'm feeling sad, I drive. I turn down a street into the city. A poster on a wall catches my eye. A poster of a blonde girl singing, with concert dates printed underneath. That girl looks a lot like Aubrey.
My phone rings, and I pull into a lay-by to answer it. "Chloe?" Someone sighs. "Beca. You should expect a call from me after all this time."
I shriek. "Aubrey!!" Aubrey laughs.
"Oh my god I missed you so much! Where are you?" I ask her. I get out of the car so I can hear her better.
"I'm actually in LA right now." She says. I can hear the smile that must be on her face. "Really? Whereabouts in LA?" I want to meet up with her so much. "Turn around." She says.I turn around slowly.
Aubrey stands a little way away from me, her phone in her hand. She clicks it off, and she smiles at me. I turn my phone off, and walk over to her. She puts her arms around me and hugs me. "I missed you so much!" I say.
"I missed you too Beca." She lets me go. "So how has life been?" I ask her.
"Good," she says. "I got married, and I had a little girl."
"That's awesome!" I say.
"But he wanted a divorce, so we split, and he took her with him. That was a few years ago and I haven't seen either of them since." She tells me.
"I'm so sorry, Aubrey. What was her name?"
She smiles softly at me. "Rebeca Chloe."
I can't help smiling. "I saw a girl on a concert poster who looked a lot like you." I tell her.
"That was me." She tells me. "I'm a singer."
"Aubrey!! You made it!" I hug her again. "So did you, Beca. Everyone in our little group keeps track of you from newspapers and magazines. You're doing awesome." She says.
"So what have Chloe and Amy been up to?"
"Amy works at a zoo teaching kids about crocodiles and kangaroos. Chloe works at a kids hospital. Well, that's what they told me." I tell her.
"That's perfect for both of them," Aubrey says. "But I think we should get all of us back together, you, me, Amy, Chloe, Lilly, Stacie and Cynthia Rose, and form a girl band."
"That's an aca-awesome idea!" I say, making her laugh.
