I am inside the washroom from 20 minutes thinking if i should go out or not. Now u might be wondering why ? Well my idiot friends are out and they are just unstoppable. The moment they have entered my room they have started to tease me, and me like a girl cant stop blushing. Well they do have the right to tease as i am the groom today *winks* .

Marriage !! The word sounds excited, Beautifull and what not. You know i always wanted to marry a simple girl, and Alhamdulillah i found the girl just like how i wanted my wife to be. I was in my office when ummi called and told that they have seen a girl and would like to know my consent. Ummi had sent a picture and the instant i saw her picture i knew she is the one.

What next ? Well Ummi and abbu had fixed our wedding date. I know queit fast but i was content.

And today the day is finally here and surprisingly i am cool. Ithought i will panic and do stupid things, but i am chilled out and i know il be all chilled out till the end.

Adl, Did you plan on to not get married ? Asked my best friend Nijaz khader while banging on the door and this brought me out of my trance.

I opened the door, went out and stood before them only to earn an smirking faces and guess what ? The next moment i was on the bed, upon me my 5 stupid friends chocking me with their hug. It was their style of wishing me good luck. Thank Allah(swa) i was not on the floor orelse my white dress would have turned to brown colour.

"Ya rabbi you are all chocking me, i have my nikah in 2 hours guys", Saying i tried to push them but my efforts went in vain.
Everyone laughed and hugged me more tightly if that was possible and then one by one they got up.

Nijaz did my hair and others helped me with wearing other stuffs, and i was ready for my Nikah.

While we were talking, well not exactly. They were teasing and i was blushing like a mad person, ummi and abbu entered the room.

"Boyss, if you are done with the teasing session, will u let me and my wife do the rest of the teasing" ? Smirked ummi.

"Ummmiiii" !! I whinned.

Everyone laughed at this and went out letting us enjoy our small family moment.

My ummi is the coolest person, Nashwa wife of kinzer Ahmed a well known Business man. Ummi and abbu are totally opposite people. Ummi is an extrovert and abbu is an introvert. My brother Nouman Ahmed posesses ummis character and i posess abbus character.

"U look handsome when u smile Addu. Keep smiling always", she prayed and my smile widened.

"Addu we are here to talk something very important with you", abbu said.

"Abbu is everything fine ? Is she fine ?? Is everything fine at her house", i asked panicking.

"Addu calm down. Everything is fine and she is also fine. We are here to talk to you about your marriage, about your responsibility", ummi said.

Abbu came and held and my hands, "see son today i am going to tell you few things which is very important for you to know. These things were told by my Abba and now i am passing it to you, hoping you will give your best for this marriage".

"The girl you are going to marry is a complete stranger to you and vice versa. She is leaving her entire family, her house were she grew up just for you, just to be with you. Dont let her down son. You might find faults in her, you might not like some habits of hers, she might have flaws which is okay to have. Everyone are like that. Even you have your own share of faults and flaws. Here nothing is perfect son, so dont expect her to be one. Remember only Jannah is perfect and nothing else. Everytime you have fights, misunderstandings clear it the same day, dont drag your fights. Say whatever you want to say without keeping it in your heart. Every couple fight but smart are those who solve the fight soon. Give your best and rest leave it upon Allah(swa) and he will make things easier for you", saying abbu patted my shoulder.

Ummi smiled, "Addu she will enter this house with many dreams, dont let her dreams crush. Since you are her husband she will get connected to you soon, she will be more comfortable with you than any of them in this house. So see to it that you make her feel home. Tell her more about us so that it will be easy for her to converse with us. Give her the belief that no matter what you will always be there for her, that you will be the best husband. Dont expect her to embrace all of us within a day addu. Dont expect her to follow the rules of our house all at once. Her complete environment is going to change, so make sure that she will accept us slowly and steadily. This is all we had to say and i know you will not let us down son".

I nodded my head, "abbu ummi i promise i will give my best. Ipromise i will not hurt her intentionally. I promise to make it up to her even if i hurt her unintentionally, i chuckled. But honestly i promise i will be the best husband In shaa Allah".

Unknowingly my mind drifted to her. Is she ready ? Where might she be now ? Is she excited ? Is she nervous ? And unknowingly my stomach did summer sault while thinking about her.

"Naashu do you think this human has even listened to whatever we have told him ? Look at him all smiling smiling for no reason", abbu teased.

"No reason ? Sweetheart my Pretty Daughter in law is the reason behind that cutest smile", smirked ummi.

"Ya rabbiii, stop embarassing me you both. Shall we go now" ?

"Look at him sweetheart, he cant wait to go already to the venue", ummi teased again.

"Ummmmiiiii....please stoppp, I whinned".
Allah the most emabarassing moment is when your parents tease you.

Ummi and abbu started laughing. Ummi was about to say something just then Nouman entered the room.

"You guys are leaving me and having a nice family time. This is sooo not fair", he huffed.

He is studying in PUC (grade 12) but acts as if he is in school, such a kid he is.

"Arrey nooo mera bacha, how can we leave you ? You are my baby boy naa", saying ummi pulled his cheeks.

He huffed saying, "ummi no pulling cheeks and all and no i am not a babyyy".

We all laughed at his childishness and shared a group hug.

Since we were getting late we came out. I went and shook hands with my elders. We then made Dua and left to the venue.
