You have chosen to follow the dark pelted animal..
You turn an start to follow the dark pelt into the forest. As you follow, you catch glimpses of the animal and identified it to be a black wolf. The wolf padded into a shady tree. Literally disappearing right into the shadow of it!
" How is that possible?!" you muttered, bewildered. You walk up to the tree, placing a hand against it. Completely solid, no hidden doors, nothing.. You circle around the tree several times, just to be sure. Still nothing.. You sigh as you lean against the tree. How could someone just disappear like that?! Unless some kind of magic was involved..
" Yeah.. I know.. don't worry. They won't find us." a voice spoke rousing you from your endless circle of thoughts.
" You sure..?" a familiar voice spoke, almost nervously, "…. I know this is out of range of patrols... but we're still in Pack territory.. and less than five miles from the den.." you walk towards the voice and as expected, Ember was there. She stood next to a boy with dragon features, possibly a sea dragon? The boy curled his tail over Ember's tail as one of his wings gently hooked onto her shoulder. You creep a bit closer to get a better listen at the conversation.
" Kasumi.. listen to me..." the boy mumbled, pulling her into a hug, " I'd never let them see.. they'll never know.. we'll keep it between us, alright..? Just remembered what to tell them.."
" M-mates, A-Alpha..." Ember whispered, barely audible. ".. Mates for life.." her feathered wings shifted slightly as she closed her dark brown eyes, resting against the boy. Her tail curled faintly around the dragon tail.
" Don't worry about a thing, Foxlet.. I'll deal with it all.." the boy mumbled comfortingly. "… It'll be alright." you hear something watched nearby and turn your gaze slightly to see a black and orchid wolf with wings. Her orchid eyes briefly glanced at you. She waved her tail slightly.
"... Hey." a voice spoke softly, prompting you to tense up, glancing nervously at Ember and the boy. " Don't worry. They can't hear us." the wolf shifted over, sitting down, " Eavesdropping as well I see.."
"... Who are they..?" You ask, taking your eyes off the pair.
" They're from a pack called Crystal Pack." The wolf explained, " The girl is a member of the Pack.. never expected Darien to pick her.." the wolf's orchid eyes watched as the two started to walk away. " Hm.. They didn't notice you.." she glanced at you, " You don't have experience eavesdropping, do you?"
" Not really..?" you answer hesitantly.
" Why don't you come with me? I'm sure they'll welcome you.." she invited as she flicked her tail, beckoning for you to follow. Her dark colored wings flapped sightly before readjusting against her back.
