Chapter II

Chapter II - Sakura's date with a vampire

"I had that dream again last night." said Sakura.

"What dream?" Ino asked.

"The same dream I've been having all week. You know - the weird one."

"Tell me more, tell me more."

I waited up longer than I usually did. It was gone half past one. Sasuke still hadn't called. I wondered where he was. He usually phoned me everyday. I was getting a little worried. Maybe he was out on some mission. Or maybe he just didn't care about me.

I turned off the TV and flung myself down on the bed. Suddenly the window burst open and sharp, cold wind burst through. I sprung up out of bed and raced to the window. It was nothing. I heard the wind as it howled and whistled through the leaves and branches, knocking over trash cans with a clatter.

I closed the window and went back to bed. But a few moments later, the window sprang open again. I turned around and there he was standing on the window sill. Sasuke Uchida. He was there, his eyes glimmering in the moonlight.

He was dresses, not in his usual ninja gear, but in a black suit and top hat. He looked like he was ready to go to a dinner party or something.

I heard him whisper my name. I came a little closer, completely hypnotized by his presence.

He called out to me again, this time raising his hand. He was wearing white gloves. With his hair all slicked back, he looked a real gentleman. I couldn't believe it.

He jumped from the windowsill into my room. Fear ran through me. I inched back a few steps as he approached. Sasuke towered over me by at least eight inches. I was no match for him. I had to get out of there, but suddenly felt myself hypnotised by his gaze once more.

He reached out his hand and pulled me into his strong embrace. I looked up and saw Sasuke's face, his strong features, his brooding eyes. Then something strange happened. His face kept changing. One second it would be Sasuke and then it would change to another guy - a red haired man. I recognised him from before. I had fought him.

His name was Sasori, his eyes equally as intense, his gaze equally as hypnotising.

But then just as quickly, it would change back to Sasuke. He leaned into kiss and tried to push him away. He merely laughed. I didn't know who this was. It wasn't Sasuke. At least it wasn't the Sasuke I used to know.

I struggled in his arms. But he held me firm against his muscular body. He stroked my hair and cupped my chin with his left hand. He smiled down at me and whispered a few words in ear. I couldn't remember what he said, but just how he looked and the way he used his strength to overpower me.

He suddenly made me feel like no one had ever done before. I was mesmerised - his warm smile, his gentle touch, his strong body. He made me feel whole. Sasuke then leaned into kiss one more time when he revealed two large white fangs in the front of his teeth.

Suddenly I was wearing a bridal gown. My pyjamas had just disappeared.

I was in shock. Sasuke was a vampire. He wanted my blood. He wanted to take me as his bride to live in eternal darkness. I didn't want to be a vampire bride.

But it was too late. Before I had time to react, Sasuke reached down and scooped me up into his arms. He held me there with such ease. I felt completely helpless but also warm and secure at the same time. It was so strange. I once again saw Sasori's face. It had changed. I felt dizzy.

I looked into his eyes. I just couldn't resist him. I put my arms around his neck and surrendered myself to him. I was his to do what he pleased.

There was nothing I could do whilst cradled in his arms. Being held like this had such a calming effect. I could have just fallen asleep right there with my head resting on his shoulder.

The vampire carried me over to the bed and laid me down gently. He showed his fangs again.. They were very impressive and lightly ran them down my neck just waiting for the right opportunity to draw blood.

I could see him salivating at my exposed neck and he tilted my neck to one side. I was ready. His fangs were no longer intimidating but more erotic as he gave me several small love bites on the shoulder. I could feel a slight pain easing into a tingling pleasure. I was ready for the final bite.

The vampire opened wide and brought his fangs down on my neck, drawing blood. I could feel all the lust and love in his body explode in a moment of frenzy and passion. His eyes rolled back in ecstasy as took blood from my body. He dug deeper and I winced but felt little pain. All I could feel was his warm body pressing against mine.

Who was this?

And then, after, all I could feel was a soothing, numbing feeling as the world began to darken around me. Soon, I could take no more as the vampire was finished with me and I fainted.

"You're so weird, Sakura!" said Ino.

Sakura giggled as she bruised back her pink hair and took a deep breath and felt the cool breeze on her face. She just felt so happy. She just felt so alive.

The two girls made their way to school as the chime rang out for the start of another day. The sun shone high in the sky. Blue birds chirping. The sound of school girls giggling. It was just another day at Konoha High School. A day like any other.

The girls were both decked out in their full school uniform, pink plaid skirt, knee-high socks and a white blouse with a cute little. The two girls adored their school uniform, it was the height of fashion and especially in the summer season.

Sakura and Ino pushed through the always-crowded entranceway, past a group of boys clad in very smart all black attire, almost military like. Konoha High School was the best in town and it liked to keep up appearances.

A few teachers were there, shouting trying to get the kids into classrooms. It was hard work. No one was listening. Sakura and Ino turned to their locker. Sakura took out some books from her bag and put them in.

Then without warning, she felt too strong hands on her shoulder. It startled her. She snapped around, ready to knock someone out. It was Sasuke. She stopped herself and smiled sheepishly.

"Hey Darling!" He said. "I missed ya!"

Sakura just smiled. She missed him too. But she had a strange feeling like she had seen him so recently. Sasuke put his hands on Sakura's waist and lifted her up, high above him, spinning her in the air.

Everyone turned around to look at what was happening. Sakura went bright red with embarrassment. Sasuke lowered Sakura and held her close.

"You don't need to be embarrassed. We've been going out for months. Everyone knows."

Sakura looked around. All her friends were there, Ino, TenTen, Hinata, all smiling, all maybe a little jealous. It was true they had started dating several months before. At first they tried to keep it a secret. Being a ninja made it hard to form any serious relationships, but eventually they just couldn't hide it. They were in love.

Sakura hugged Sasuke tightly when she looked across the hallway and saw a strange guy. His face looked so familiar. He wasn't looking at her. He was in one of the classrooms talking to a tall blonde-haired guy. But she felt like she knew him, maybe she did. He was from that dream. She remembered. His name was Sasori.

Sasuke leaned down and kissed Sakura right on the lips. It took her breath away, completely unexpected.

Then the whole school seemed to erupt in cheers.
