In a beautiful warm summer day I was walking alone on the shore. Since I was little this was my ideal morning ritual, to gaze at the peaceful sea and think about my future days. Through out the years something changed. The point where the sea and the shore greet each other, got filled with plastic cans, empty boxes and other things whom place where not there.

A few steps in front of me there is a girl sitting, her pale skin and blond hair glowing under the sun. I approach her slowly and see that her eyes are closed, a small fragile smile made its way to her lips.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" her voice softly echoes on my ears as a wave hits the shore.

"Never seen anything alike." I answer as I come closer to sit next to her.

She slowly opens her eyes and looks at me, such a shade of blue, I have never seen before. It looked as though the entire ocean was captive in her eyes, and me with it.

"Such a shame I never seen it," she says " but I do feel it with my entire body." smiling she turns her head back and closes her eyes.

"What do you mean?" I ask her after a few seconds

She hugs herself for comfort and begins to say "Well,I can't see. Since I was born I was very week," she begins and I notice her body is covered in bruises "You noticed them, right?" she chuckles "I wasn't able to see so I trusted a lot of people. Some loved me, some didn't treat me so good."

"Why are you not telling somebody this?" I couldn't help but say "At this rate you'll end up dead." I basically yell at her, full of anger. How can she not take care of herself?

"But I DID." her tone changed a little "People just turn their heads and don't care. Because it's not happening to them."

I sigh, speechless to her words. She stands up and looks at me "Let them know it's hurting me please." and raises her head as to look behind me.

I turn around and see some kids throwing their ice cream's wrappers in the ocean, at that point a wave hit the exact point where the garbage now was. I turn back to the girl, a tear running down her check. "Don't ignore me too"

Before I could say something more, she turns around and storms away.
