Yamada Jiro x reader: Pocky day special

"Hey, [Y/N]!" A voice called your name. You turned around to see Jiro with something in his hand

Yamada Jiro is your boyfriend, you two were in the same class last year. When your friends know that, they told you that having Jiro as a boyfriend wasn't a good idea. He's a delinquent and supposedly has 'bad' vibes around him, you're also an honored student while Jiro failed almost every exam he took so they think he's not good enough for you. Oh, how wrong were they?

You learned that Jiro is not a bad person, in fact, he's one of the nicest people you've ever met. The bad aura around him seems like it never existed in the first place. Jiro gets excited when he talks about his brother Ichiro who's very famous, he actually looks like a puppy in some ways. You also learned that Jiro became a delinquent because he wants to protect his neighborhood, even though it's in a weird way you love how he has his own, unique way of protecting people he cares for

"What is it?" you asked him

"It's the 11th of November today!" He excitedly tells you, making you confused about what is special about today. It's not your Anniversary either

"What is it about today?"

"I learned that today is Pocky day and there's a game we could only play today!" He exclaims

"Oh, what is it called?" You smile at his enthusiasm. He looks really excited to play this game with you

"It's called Pocky game" He answers, you've heard about it from your friends but never really know what it was. Being an honored student makes you have no times for things like this

"And how do you play it?" You asked while he opens a package of the chocolate sweets

"Here, you bite this end and I'll bite this end. We just keep biting until we reach the middle, and the person who snaps the Pocky lose, okay?" He said as he put one end of the Pocky stick in his mouth

"O-Okay" You already know that if you two keep biting, it will result in a kiss. But you can't turn Jiro down because no one would want to see him getting sad including you too

You two keep biting until there's only the last bit left until your mouth touches his, it was also your turn which made it worse, you can't lose this, but you're too embarrassed to do it

'Well, I have nothing to lose' you thought as you bite the last part of the sweets, your mouths touch. While both of you might see it coming from a mile, you still got embarrassed when it really happens so the kiss didn't last long since one of you might die from embarrassment

"..."

It was an awkward silence before Jiro decided to speak up

"I-I didn't think you're gonna do it for real" He mumbles

"I didn't think it would do that either..." you reply back

Even though it's not the best, it's not a bad experience either. You'll never forget what happened today for sure

Omake: "PDA much, [Y/N]?" your friend teases you about what happened that day, while your face flush red like a tomato

"Our honored student has changed, what did that boy do to you?" Your best friend laughs

"Why do you want to know about that?" You pout. Suddenly there was a loud noise coming from the door, followed by a cheerful voice from no one other than Yamada Jiro

"[Y/N], let's walk home together!" He smiles. You smile back and put your books in the bag

"See you tomorrow," You said to your friend as you walk to the door

"Man, that Jiro dude should be grateful he has captured our friend's heart like this" one of your friends speaks up, while the rest nod in unison
