I dedicate this song to you,
The one who never sees the truth,
That I can take away your hurt,
Heartbreak girl.

A light but strong shoulder bump against him pauses his reading. Jinyoung looks to his left and realise that his best friend has taken a seat not-so-girly next to him.

The girl is smiling widely and her smile reaches her eyes. She must be very happy to that extend.

"Something good happened?" Jinyoung puts down his book to face the smiling girl. He loves watching her smile. These days have been quite stormy with her mood change. But he doesn't blame her. She is heartbroken anyways. He adores her so much that her mood changes his mood too.

"Jin says we are getting back together." she says, all smiling.

His eyes dilate. He scans her face to search for any lies but he find nothing except for the sweet smile he always love about her. She is happy. So shall he. But the sentence break Jinyoung's heart, he couldn't get himself to smile.

And that makes her frown.

"Why? You don't like it?" she asks. Her voice sounds normal but Jinyoung knows that she wants him to say no. Because that's who she is. The one who never sees the truth. That he can take away her hurt. But she chooses Jin instead.

"Why should I like someone who breaks your heart?" he replies nonchalantly. He is hurt. She could choose someone else and still not him. She would get heartbroken every single time and he is still not in her list. And in the end, he is always there to mend her heart back. Why can't she see?

He picks his book back, opening previous page he was reading. He knows she is upset. But she should know that he is upset too.

"Jinyoung," she calls.

He ignores her call, concentrating on the exact line which he was reading like a minute ago. He is glued to the sentence because all he has in mind is to tell the girl that she should have choose him instead of the boy who breaks her heart.

"Jinyoung!" she calls again. Seeing that her bestfriend ignores her, she sighs.

The girl gathers her breath. She grabs his arm, tugs his sleeve and throws her bratty face. "Jinyoung!"

He always love that trick. He loved and still loves the way she wants his attention. She will gather her breath to throw herself on him and start whining his name. He loves her.

"Why?" he replies. It is unknown to him, but she likes his reply too. It is soothing. That voice she would never hear from Jin. That voice which reminds her that even he is mad with her but he still loves her every second, so he still gives his attention even he is mad. That boyfriend voice.

"Don't get mad at me please." she pouts. She knows she can control Jinyoung anyhow she wants. Because she knows Jinyoung loves her. But she never know that he hopes she loves him the way he does.

"You know what? I think I have a new name for you." he puts his book down, looking down to the girl hugging his arm.

"What?"

"Heartbreak girl." what he gets in return is a loud scream and multiple hits on his chest. His laugh zaps across his chest, bringing laughter to the girl too. The girl continues to abuse him, hitting here and there.

But he doesn't care. Because this is his heartbreak girl.

Hold you tight straight through the day light,
I'm right here, when you gonna realize
That I'm your cure, heartbreak girl?

"Hey." a male voice brings their laughter to an end. Looking up, the said boy is standing, towering both of them.

Jinyoung send glares to the other boy. He does not understand why Jin is still giving fake hopes to this poor girl when he already has another girl. He clearly saw Jin and a girl clinging all over him in the campus a few hours back.

Why does he even agree to get back?

"Heyyyy," here comes the voice that he loves the most.

"Come. I want to take you for lunch." Jin says. The request makes Jinyoung turns to the girl in disbelief.

"You said you're having lunch with me?" he asks.

The girl gives him an apologetic smile. Jinyoung sighs, he knows he couldn't win over her.

"Can we bring Jinyoung too?" she asks the latter. Jinyoung immediately interrupt just as Jin opens his mouth to answer.

"No no thanks. I'm not going. I'd stay here to finish the book." he says. It's not entirely a lie. He really can use the time to read rather than watching his favourite girl date with a jackass.

"But you haven't have lunch." she protests.

"I know how to take care of myself okay. Don't worry. Go on."

"You're staying because of reading? How ridiculous. Does people even read anymore? Why are you lagging behind? It's technology world." Jin laughs.

Jinyoung's  eyes are shooting glares and lasers as the latter speak. He is clearly up to date with the trend. But is reading a crime? It's not old. Reading is always relevant for how far the technology has developed.

"Before I can throw him a punch, I'd love if you can bring him away from me." Jinyoung mutters to the girl.

His bestfriend nods hurrily and quickly stand up to take Jin's hand in her and pull him away. She is well aware that Jinyoung hate Jin for his personality but he puts up with him because of her.

Somehow she feel sorry for Jinyoung because he always there for her and compromise a lot. Whenever she cried because of Jin, Jinyoung always threaten to kill Jin or something like poisoning him with sodium peroxide. He always tries to cheer her up no matter what.

But she loves Jin. She hopes that Jinyoung can be friend with Jin too so that she doesn't have to feel bad for leaving him alone.

Jinyoung watches the couple walk away with a longing stare. He really misses his old girl. The girl from two years ago. The girl who always laugh with him, pestering him to no end. The girl who sulk just because she wants his attention or because he teases her too much.

He just want her back. Why can't she see that he loves her too? He's just right there. When is she going to realise? He definitely can make her laugh more than that Jin guy. He's the cure to her sadness.

Why?
