I Thought My Family Was Dysfunctional...

Wassup homies! I'm back! I saw requests to add more pictures in the story, so here's a picture of Alekzander played by the handsome Toni Mahfud 🥰 He's such an amazing photographer and model! And I have a favor for you guys. Who should play Aaliyah? I need to figure out the characters of this book. I also need a Hades, Persephone, Aphrodite, and last but certainly not least, a Perseus! Thank you guys for all the love and support! Bear with me until I finish editing all the parts because I've noticed I have some parts that I changed, but didn't revise 😭 Anyways..... Happy reading!

After our day in, we finally got downstairs to introduce me to the rest of the family. As we walked down the stairs, all I see is a flash of light from the kitchen and hear someone screaming.

"Don't worry!" Alek told me when he felt me shaking a little, "That's just my uncle and aunt."

That got me thinking. "Who's your..." I said trailing off as I walk in and see literal chaos.

I saw a man with devil horns wearing an expensive all red Armani suit being yelled at by a gorgeous Greek woman with long brown hair with a golden woven crown and wearing what looked to be a toga. But while that was happening, I see people sitting at a table just chewing down on food as if nothing was happening.

"Who was that bitch I saw you with this morning, Hades?!" She fumed while flames engulfed her.

"The only bitch I see is you right now Persephone," Hades said bored looking at his Rolex.

Persephone's eyes flowed a fiery red and she lifted her hands and hundreds of vines rose out the floor. They grabbed Hades and entangled him in a web of thorns and leaves.

Hades looked at the vines as if they were little weeds and snapped his fingers. Just like that, they disappeared.

"I didn't ask for this!" Persephone said with tears in her eyes. "I never wanted this life!"
You could tell that hit somewhere deep in Hades because his eyes softened when he saw her tears.

"She was a demon trying to get passage to the main world. We didn't do anything," Hades said while moving towards her.
"You know I love you," he said wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her forehead.

I felt so awkward it wasn't even funny. So I just looked around and make eye contact with one of the girls at the table. I always thought I was straight until now...

She was a timeless beauty. I imagined her in the 1930's hanging out with movie stars or in the present walking down a Victoria Secret runway show. Her blonde hair in shiny tresses going down her back and piercing blue eyes that seemed to be a family trait. Home girl could get it I thought.

"Hi there! I'm Aphrodite," she said giving me a warm hug. She smelled like the most expensive Chanel perfume you could think of.
All I could think was the goddess of love and beauty is hugging me. I was fangirling so hard because I loved Greek mythology growing up.

As we hugged, I felt her hands get lower and lower on my back until she gripped my ass.
I gasped and I heard her laugh.
"You have a banging body. I would love to see it in private," Aphrodite said and smacked my butt so hard it jiggled.

"Stop hitting on my wife," Alek said pulling me away, "I see you trying to seduce her."

"Stop having a hot wife then," Aphrodite said while winking at me. "When you get tired of him, you can always join my bed gorgeous." She snapped her fingers and any attraction I felt towards her was gone.

As she purred those words, my skin heat up because the goddess of love was hitting on me and using her powers on me.

What's up with this family and trying to seduce me?

"I see you met my dad's twin and alter ego," Alek said calmly watching the couple walk away.

I looked at him in confusion.
"What? So there's two Hades?"
Alek nods and leans against the counter.
"My father was overwhelmed with the power of all of Hell on his shoulders, so he made a coven of witches duplicate him. It's really confusing, but just know that my dad has blue eyes and the alter ego has red. They both have horns, but my dad covers his."

I just nod with my eyes open wide with all this information. What a family...

I see Aphrodite and decided to sit at down next to her and started making my plate because I was too hungry to process that whole situation. I started drooling when m I saw eggs, bacon, French toast, waffles, sausage, hash browns, and they even had Minute Maid! It's like they knew!

I closed my eyes and just said thank you to God because a girl was craving some good breakfast food.
(A/N: This is a true thing that happened with me 😂 it was 2 in the morning in my dorm room and I started craving breakfast food so bad, but being a broke college kid I couldn't get it 😭)

"You good babe?" Alekzander chuckled grabbing my thigh. All I could do was shake my head and put more food in my mouth.
"Alekzander! You've been starving the poor girl! Come here sweetie I'll put more food on your plate," Anastasia said while shoveling more food on my plate.

I just teared up a little. I'm gonna marry this woman. She's gorgeous AND cooks? I didn't see a single maid or cook.

Alek's hand went up to my hooha and smacked it. "You're not leaving me! Especially for my mother!"

I just looked at him and clicked my tongue.
"Step your game up G," I said putting more scrambled eggs in my mouth.
I hear Alek's father laugh.
"She's a keeper son," he smiled.
I smile back and continued having an out-of-body experience with this meal from the gods.
"We wouldn't mind having an open relationship with you, Aaliyah," I hear Anastasia say.
I chocked on my food and Alekzander threw his hands up with disbelief.
"Why is my entire family trying to steal my woman?!"
They all laughed, but didn't answer him.
I got some red pomegranate juice on the table and was about to pour it when Hades came over and took it from me.

"Hey! I was using that!" I said trying to get it back.

"If you drink this, your soul belongs to the Underworld, sooooo wanna try this again?" He said with the smuggest smirk I wanted to slap off.

I gulped and just got my Minute Maid.
I'm not about to go to Hell permanently because I was thirsty.

As the breakfast went on, the course of conversation turned towards me.

"So Aaliyah, I know you're an orphan, but you said your mom was a beauty technician?"

I nodded, "I got adopted when I was younger. I don't know who my real mother is. All the orphanage would tell me about my biological parents is that my father was Malachi." I said calmly.

In my heart, my real mother was the one who adopted me because she showed me love and compassion and I will forever be grateful and love her for that because she could've just left me in the system.

After a few more minutes of conversation and getting to know Alek's family, I help clean the table off with Anastasia. As we were washing dishes together, I hear the doorbell ring.

A clacking of heels catch my attention. I turn around and see a silicone woman standing behind me. If Megan Fox had a twin, but the twin had lip fillers, a fake tan and a fake artificial ass, this would be her.

"So, are you Aaliyah?"

I looked at Anastasia and she's shaking in anger.
"Yeah, who's asking?" I said crossing my arms over my chest.

I see her attempt to smile, but her overdone lips made it look like she was in pain.

"Alekzander's real mate."

"Say that again, bitch?"
