Theo walked me to his gray wheel box called a truck.
"You're driving me?", I asked hopeful that he wasn't, which was dumb of me because why else would he be walking me to his shitty truck.
"Yeah", He looked at me and looked away.
I looked down at the crowds of kids leaving and my eyes found Lisa.
" I can't I already promised to hang out with Lisa".
He looked at me like I told him quarters were squares.
"Umm..-
"Yo Lisa, Yo", I verbally cut Theo and his shit with wheels off, resulting in many turned heads, luckily one of which was Lisa.
Acknowledging her acknowledgment, carefully choosing my words I spoke again,"Yo!".
Lisa, confused, walked up to us.
"You got your shit, right? Come on we're going to my place, remember?", I winked.
She smiled at me, playing along. "Yah"
Theo, dazed and hurt responded, " Oh. Yah, okay. It's all good." He looked down. "See you."
"Yah. Bye".
After a few paces, Lisa smiling the whole time turned to me,"What an inspiring relationship.".
Her smile is so fucking contagious.
"Inspiring?", I laughed. "Im glad we inspired you". I laughed.
"Get in my car", she smiled.
"Yah,yah".
