Dalia POV
4 months later

"Dalia. I have something to say." Dad says.

"Yeah?" I say.

"I didn't adopt you." Dad says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I saved you. A man was trying to lure you into his home and I saved you. You're not legally mine. And I just can't keep you any longer. I can go to jail for this." Dad says.

There's a knock at the door and my dad opens it.

"Hello, we are here for Dalia Everly Bernard." A woman says.

"Yes? I'm here." I say.

"We are here for you. Your real parents are here for you." The woman says.

"Wait you want me to leave with them?" I ask.

"Yes. Your family lives in Glasgow, United Kingdom. And that is where you're going." The woman says.

"Why should I go with them? I don't even know their names. Why all of a sudden." I say.

"Edward Brock is going to jail for this and you need to live with your parents. We found you because a person knew you." The woman says

"No I'm not going! And neither is Eddie!" I yell.

A man goes and puts handcuffs on dad.

"NO STOP IT LEAVE HIM ALONE HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG. HE IS NOT A CRIMINAL STOP IT." I yell.

"Dalia don't worry it's fine." Dad says.

"NO ITS NOT PLEASE DONT LET THEM TAKE ME AND YOU DAD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH." I yell.

"Dalia, I promise we will see each other again." Dad says.

I run and hug him. "You said you'd never let me go." I say.

"I know and I never will." Dad says.

"I'll get you out of there I promise." I say.

"Come on sweetheart lets go home." A man says. My so-called real father.

"Don't touch me." I say.
