More time has passed
I am dead and you're alive
We're separated by the veil
Printed with a captains mast
There's a smile upon your face
Something's left a gleam in your eye
Moving up along the shore
Walking with a bouncing pace
Emotion fails to fill me
I am in another place
Darkness continues to surround me
I am transfixed by your face
Karma wont be a friend to you
Soon you will have to pay
For what you have done to me
Because with you I wouldn't stay
There's no tingle on my skin
I can't feel the soul within me
Lost in limbo for your sin
This wasn't how it was supposed to be
Only the veil shimmers before me
As my vision begins to fail
The darkness begins to swallow me
As I am wrapped up into the veil

Where Shadows Grow
PoetryA collection of poems that I have written during some of my deepest depressions. Some are based on dreams while others are based off of my life. It is an ecclectic mix of dark, sad poetry that I hope you can appreciate.
