I immediately ran into my room, slammed the door, and tried to sleep. Mello was scratching at my outside door, because he was outside. I yelled " Go away! Stupid dog!" He kept scratching at the door though. I stomp to the door. " WHAT DO YOU WANT? FOOD? I BET IT WILL JUST MAKE YOUR TEETH CROOKED LIKE MINE. I WISH I WAS PERFECT!" I was expressing feelings to my dog. And I didn't know? He pawed at me. It's like I felt him say, " Its alright, I got you." So I laughed. "Sit!" I said. He lied down. " Roll over?" He looked up at me in forgiveness. I crouched down and said, " It's okay bud. You're getting older like me." The calendar rolls. Years pass by. Mello was still living okay. I was giving him medicines, though. It was almost christmas, which was around Mello's birthday. I saw him lying on the floor, close to the christmas tree. " Wanna get up boy? Eat?" I looked up at me. I lifted his head. " Mello?" I dropped his head to see if he could hold it up, and he didn't. It dropped down, make a thump noise, and Mello whimpered. " DAD?" I was so worried. Mello has never acted like this. " He can't move! I tried to lift his head, but he slumped down and whimpered!" Dad picked him up and we drove to the vet. I sat in the back with Mello. He lied Mello on the table. The vet had a talk with him. I sat in there, and pet him. " I love you bud. No matter what happens, I love you."
