Dropping our bags off into our hotel room, Alex plops onto the clean white bed with a huff. I see a drop of sweat roll down his temple and onto his cheek. I drop my purse and climb on top of him. He smiles up to me kindly and places his hands on my waist.
"You look beautiful, even in this terrible heat, wife," he adds with a slight chuckle, and emphasising the wife. I'm his wife. We got married! I giggle and place my hand over his heart. I see the white diamond glitter in the sunlight streaming in through the slightly drawn curtains.
"Happy honeymoon, husband," I whisper quietly. I lean down and place a soft kiss on his lips.

Alex and I lounge by the pool, tanning, for majority of our honeymoon. It's been about a week since we first got here in Hawaii. We'll be leaving in a little over a week. I move into the shade of a large umbrella when a random wave of nausea hits me. Alex lifts his sunglasses and glances at me.
"What's wrong, babe?" he takes a sip from his iced tea, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh nothing. Just got a little... dizzy. It's probably just the heat. Don't worry about it," I wave him off. He glances me over once more and nods his head, returning his sunglasses to his eyes. I take a large gulp of my water to help my stomach, but it doesn't seem to cure the knots its twisted in.
After about an hour later, Alex decides that it's about time that we leave the pool and head to a local restaurant. Upon arriving inside, I'm hit with several dozens of scents that send me into a nausea spell. I hold my head and lean against the wall. Alex doesn't seem to notice right away, so I straighten up before he can turn around. I place my hand on his shoulder. He quickly turns around and raises an eyebrow.
"Do you think we can just order room service instead? I'm not feeling great right now," I place my hand on my head again to see if I have a fever. He looks around us, almost sadly, but nods his head and grabs my hand. I smile smally and let him drag me back to our hotel room.
We start our short walk back to the hotel, hand in hand. The entire walk back, I stay stuck in my thoughts, thinking about what is going on with my stomach.
"What's on your mind?" Alex bumps my hip slightly with his own, with a concerned look on his face.
"I'm just trying to figure out why I feel so sick," I shrug slightly.
"I'm sorry that I can't really help you feel better," he squeezes my hand and smiles at me. I look down at the ground and frown. I hope that I'm not getting sick on our honeymoon.
"Can we stop at a gas station or something? Maybe I'm just getting dehydrated," Alex nods his head and we head off to the nearest gas station.
Upon arriving to the gas station, I was starting to feel worse.
"Do you want me to call a cab?" Alex asks with worry in his voice.
"No. I'm okay. Let's just get some Gatorade and leave." He nods again and walks off to look for some Gatorade and a light snack.
I start wandering through the aisles, just browsing. I happen to stop in the hygiene aisle and my eyes land on a box of pregnancy tests. My heart rate suddenly picks up and my eyes well up with tears. My hand shoots out and grabs the box and I rush to find Alex. I nearly crash into him. He grips my upper arms, watching me with wide eyes, a few stray tears falling.
"Layla. Calm down. What's wrong?" He stares into my eyes as I lift the box to show him. His mouth parts slightly. "Do you really think..."
"Its definitely a possibility...," I trail off, smiling. He breaks out into a wide grin and pulls me close.

We rushed back to the hotel, as quick as we possibly could. I run into the bathroom and take out the test. I thoroughly read through the instructions, and sigh, trying to calm my racing heart.
After waiting about ten minutes, Alex and I grip each other, and walk back into the bathroom to check what my results are. We close our eyes, and count from 3.
"1..." I start.
"2..." Alex joins.
"3!" We both shout as our eyes fly open and look at the small test. I gently pick it up and my eyes well up with tears.
On that test, it has two faint lines, meaning, that its positive. I start screaming and jumping up and down. I leap into Alex's arms as he starts crying. I wrap my legs around his waist while he kisses my jaw, as we both continue to bawl. After several minutes like that, we part and smile at each other. I see nothing but pure love and joy in his eyes.
"You're actually pregnant," he whispers. I bite my lip and nod. He pulls me into a tight hug again. Suddenly, he drops to his knees and places his hands gently over my stomach. "I can't believe it."
I start giggling at his excitement. I don't think I've ever seen him look so happy. He stands up quickly, sprinting out the balcony door, and leans over the railing.
"I'M GOING TO BE A DAD!" He screams out onto the hot air. I hear some people start clapping down at the pool. I lean against the door and smile.
"And a good one at that," I add gently, smiling.

Author's Note:
Nobody asked for this but the idea came to me and I felt as though it was perfect. Honestly, Alex's character transformation still blows my mind. He was at first the rough and tough Alpha, but now he's a kind and caring husband and father.
Let me know if you'd like to see their wedding as well!
Don't forget to check out the sequel called "The Alpha's Daughter" where you can still see all of your favorite characters and even some new ones.
I love and appreciate all of you <3
Make sure to vote and comment, it actually really helps :)
Love,
