Don't Hate Me

Please do not hate me.
For I must go.
I cannot be...
When I love you so.
I know you too will leave.
So for only a few days I will grieve.

Please don't hate me because I cannot live.
I know you've got one foot out the door..
I have nothing left to give.
So baby girl if I do not wake...
Remember how much I loved you for Heaven's Sake.
You were the air I breathed for far to long.
When you left the first time that air was gone.
It took my sun, my moon, and even the stars...
But you leaving once more won't be just scars.
I'm not your soulmate. I know I'm not.
But you are mine. You were the only one I got.
I simply cannot live without you my dear.
Because losing you was my biggest fear..
I love you more than words can explain.
But without you being mine there is nothing to gain.
Perhaps I will do it...Perhaps that I won't...
But I want to more than ever before..
So don't hate yourself... Please don't.
This was a fatal flaw in me. Not you my dearest.
I hope in your heart I'll always be nearest....
