You and some friends went on a camping trip in a far away forest that everyone seems to just 'disappear' in. You didnt exactly think that was true, but you did see a good amount of evidence of that being the truth. Your goal along with the other people that you brought with you was to find a reason to the disappearances that had and are appearing. Other towns people called you "idiots", "stupid", or "morons" for even going to the entrance of the woods to investigate. Some even called you suicidal cause you where just going to get "killed"...

You and your crew walked about the forest, getting deeper and deeper into it . multiple things came across your path as you went. Some were stunningly beautiful. Small grass plains, small, clear lakes, even a small patch of beautiful multi colored roses! But your camping spot was the prettiest. A perfect place, like a dream suddenly turned to reality. A beautiful waterfall surrounded by a medium sized lake that seemed to be perfectly clear was right in front of your tent you've set up. Beautiful flowers covered small areas of land so it'd be colorful.

"ahhhhhhhh, I can see why people just 'disappear' here! its beautiful~" (y/b/f) said stretching while looking at the waterfall.

"I don't know...it could be different at night" You replied.

Three other friends of yours were setting up their tent and you and your best friend continued to talk and all that other normal stuff. A little later the sun started to set. Everyone got into their tents and zipped it up as much as it would allow them. Each tent had two zippers. One on the outside and one on the inside. You shared a tent with your best friend while the other three slept in the other tent.

For some reason you had an uneasy feeling, enabling you to go to sleep. The sounds outside kinda scared you, knowing that people disappeared here. Maybe they got lost? Maybe they choose not to come home?Whatever...it was no big deal.You laid down to get some sleep but you heard your tents zipper slowly start to unzip on the outside. You bolted up to see who it was and....it was only Karrie from the other tent wanting something.

You unzipped the inside of the tent for her."What do you want?"You asked not too happy of her sudden movements to scare you.

"I just need an extra blanket. ^.^'' sorry if I scared you" she asked apologizing a little.

"Nah, it's okay, but you did scare me abit there"You replied as you got into your camping bag then handed her a blank you had for extra reasons.

"thank (y/n)!" She said happily then headed off to her own tent. You laid back down and huffed.

"so boring...What's the threat here?"You talked to yourself in a quiet voice to not bother (y/b/f). Soon you fell in a deep sleep, like nothing was going to happen that night.

"KARRIE!!!!!" A girl she brought along called. "KARRIE, WHERE ARE YOU?" She called once more. It was really loud considering it woke both you and your best friend up.You got up and unzipped your tent then peeked outside.

"Fuck that's bright!" You said to yourself as you looked around at the camp.It was a mess! Hair brushes on the dirty ground, clothes scattered everywhere, make up powder sprinkled places. What the hell?Did you miss out on that much?

The girl looked at you."Morning sunshine.Where looking for Karrie..."she said sorta worried.

"What's going on with Karrie?" Your friend poked her head out behind you.

"Karrie is missing" You replied as you crawled out the tent and stood up.

"ohhhhh.....creeeeeeeeppyyy!"She smiled and followed you.
