It was a cloudy and almost to stormy night at Vale. Humid air and the pleasant smell of the rain immersed the city night much to a young lynx faunus's delight. Over a neon billboard above a building on the city resided a guy named Grey Raiden. Tall and slender, blonde hair he sports his favorite (and only) set of clothes, a dark gray and black shirt with a light blue beanie covering his ears, a pair of stained blue jeans and converse.
Watching the city at night was always kind of beautiful to his clear blue eyes due to the different lights and more on this weather with the flash of lightning and the sound of thunder. Deciding to lack sleep he saw his weapon aside of an old picture on top of a mini bookshelf. He sited on his sleeping bag and turned on a light hanging nearby by touching it slightly, contemplating the picture he saw a fifteen year old self and a seventeen year old guy aside of him. His twin, Stradec. There was also a woman on the picture but her face has been scratched.
Frowning a bit he turned the pic to see a script. One that he knows almost too well:
'Hey little bro. Happy birthday, I know things have been hard lately but soon I'll go to Beacon and leave The Silver Sword behind. I will give you money so you can eat without going though the same things as me.
Oh also I made this for you. It was hard convincing the blacksmith to forge it for free and also finding the parts but I'm glad to see it finally payed off. I'd call it 'Bolt'
Carpe Diem pup'.
A gloomy sigh escaped the Faunus mouth at ending the note. But before he could go on his mind fully a crash and sirens sounded not so far away. Most likely being Silver Sword sindycate and the authority. Grabbing Bolt he jumped of the billboard to the roof below and started to jump from one roof top to another going to his destiny.
The Sword members were fleeing on a van with they're latest shipment of dust basically un opposed by the authorities that they've left behind.
" Quick, to that alley" one of the gang member said.
The van sharply turned to an intersection to a wet three way alley already savoring the money on their hands.
" Yes, boss well be there in no time. The new shipment looks very-"
But out of a sudden something fell from above and exploded in energy, rising dust and concrete on the impact point along with the van on the expansion wave on a light orangey electricity.
The metallic crash against the floor resonated though like echoes on a cave and spark emerged from every metallic surface, beating for a couple of seconds before it faded. The goons get out stunned from the upside van. One of them sees Grey and unsheathes a sword. The two others do the same with a gun.
Now this was training. One of the mans shoots but its blocked by the aura greenish yellow of Grey. Quickly he darts at the one that has the gun and punches him sending him to a wall, cracking part of it. A grin appeared on the youngster's face. He drew Bolt from his back, the shiny metal with a black pommel of the hand grip of 25 meters long, the meter long twin staffs made from the same alloy gained attention and gave him a professional look to Grey. On a flick of a finger the poles separated creating a diapason-like image.
The goons gave a confused look to each other and started laughing. The grin grew to an almost taunting smile and in second orange energy crossed his left arm and to Bolt. Lighting it up with waves of orange electricity that licked between the poles.
In a heartbeat Grey lunged forward and swept under the legs of one of them leaving him upside down in the air. In a millisecond Grey stood up and in a heavy swing dismissed the guy to another wall the exploded with energy leaving some pipes and trash bins energized. The last one was shivering in fear of the action but before he could do any thing Gray jumped on the air and with a two handed grip over his head planted the last one to the ground with the same liberation of energy from the first. They were noobs.
