Part two: pranks and duels

The light peered through the window of the newly formed Team SAGE who's members are soundly sleeping. The sun rays shine on Grey's face eventually waking him up. Groggy and tired he rolled wanting more sleep, yet he just managed to fall to the blue carpeted floor, forgetting he was on a bed instead of a sleeping bag. In pain he sited on his knees and half opened his eyes to orientate. His bed was at his left and at his right was a sleeping Elec, and in front of him was his bag with his stuff. The closet was aside of the entrance door and in front of Elec's bed. In parallel to Elec and him were Herm and Sya still asleep. On their right is the bathroom, small but efficient. Grey touches his neck to see if the collar was still there only to find skin. He grew a bit nervous and checks on his bag only to find that the Emerald green gem is.. glowing. He observed it and puts it on again. He immediately feels energized again which makes him weird out yet he gives it little importance and goes to change into his school uniform. Soon after he's changed he heads out to walk and ubicate his first class. Yet he something came to his mind, a meeting with Ozpin that Professor Glynda advised him yesterday . Her attitude towards him seems to be more strict than with the others.

He went to the elevator and pushed the button to the headmasters office He did not knew if the collar broke some dress code so he puts it under the uniform. Upon arrival he saw Ozpin looking out the window and drinking from his mug, Glynda was on a corner aside from his desk.

" Good morning Mr. Grey I believe you slept well" He said turning to him and walking to his chair. " Please take a seat" He gestured to the seat in front of his desk.

Grey calmly walks and seats as silently as possible yet he can't avoid a slight glare coming from the blond.

" As you may be aware your inscription is an... unusual occurrence due to your brothers disappearance. I know you probably have many questions and I have to say, some of them can be answered now, yet others with time" A silence was the response of the young man. Not that they expected otherwise.

" Well your brother was a very outstanding student, his team included of course. He wanted for you to have this" Ozpin said as he reached for something from his desk. He left it on the table for Grey to observe.

It is a wide silver cylinder over a black metal rectangle with brown leather straps. Grey pushed a button under the structure and the cylinder opened and expanded into a 30 cm radius circular shield. Grey was amazed his brother gave this to him. He smiled and closed the shield again and bowed to Ozpin as a thanks gesture and headed out to class.

As Glynda watched the student leave to class she had the desire to spoke her mind to the Headmaster.

" Ozpin. I'm still in disagreement with him being here at Beacon" she said crossing her arms under her chest. " What's next? A young girl that wields effectively an oversized weapon?"

" It was already discussed Glynda. I gave his brother my word in exchange for his help on the research. It was the least I could do" he said sipping is mug.

" At least his brother talked. We know he is not mute" She said.

" His brother said his reasons on that and gave us the signs . Now al we can do is wait and watch him until he awakens" he paused to turn his chair to face the window on his back. " And hope he ready to face what's ahead" He said looking to his coffee.

Back to the rest of team SAGE. Elec woke up with a happy grin on her face and breathed the air to see the clock to se the time. It was early and she saw her teammates soundly asleep. She attempted to wake up Sya but as it turns out she's a heavy sleeper, huffing she went to Herm to yet in the middle of the way she stopped. A mischievous grin appeared on her face. She recollected the books for today with her two other teammates included and let's them drop soundly on the floor.
