22. Twins

{ Jungkook's P.O.V }

The piercing sound of my heart shattering into pieces reached my ears with a sharp pain in my heart making my breathing heavier by every second.

My eyes felt dry to the point that water had started emerging in them in the form of tears.

Suddenly, a hand held mine forcefully. Looking to my side, I saw Eun Bi with her eyes plastered to the scene in front of her. Her expression was one that couldn't be explained_ betrayed, hurt, sad, shocked.

"I-I've to go," saying that, she quickly stood up and ran out of sight.

"W-What?" Eun Byul's voice was barely above a whisper as she looked at hyung with an unbelievable stare.

"Stop peeking already," I heard Eun Bi's voice behind me as she pulled me by my collar.

Putting aside my annoyance, I stood up and left the scene with her.

       { Eun Bi's P.O.V }

"Finally, you're home! Where's Eun Byul?"

"She'll be back," taking off my shoes, I walked past mom.

"But when?" she inquired, crossing her arms.

"Soon," saying that, I shut my room's door.

With the scene as clear as crystal in my head, I walked over to the bed. Slumping on it, I pulled the sheets all the way over my head.

Taehyung confessed to Unnie.

It's not that big of a deal but why do I feel so betrayed?

Taehyung... likes Unnie.

Jungkook likes Unnie.

My uncle likes Unnie.

And in the living room, mom is crying because of Unnie.

I've been here all the time but she came and made her place in people's heart that I didn't manage to make it in all these years.

Mom, Taehyung and even that thick headed Jungkook who was a bullier just till yesterday follows Unnie around like a dog.

It isn't new anyways. Even in childhood, uncle chose Unnie over me. Everyone chooses Unnie over me.

I don't despise Unnie but sometimes she really makes me feel frustrated and jealous.

But even so, it is all to hide my incompetency. I'm so useless. Even being her twin, I lack so much.

I'm not capable of anything.

With a few tears now rolling out of my eyes, my eyes started getting heavy and drifted off to sleep before I even knew it.
