Small talk

"It's positive!"
Sammy looks up from the test and looks me in my eyes, and his face breaks into a smile. I look at him in tears, confused.
"I'm going to be a dad!!!" He yells.
"Shhh!" I say "aren't you upset? What about your career, future?"
He laughs and moves closer and removes the tests from my hands, placing it on the vanity. He pulls me close and kisses my forehead.
"Listen babe, I don't care I can still do all that whilst be a good dad and be an amazing husband! I love you so much and this baby is going to be the best thing that's ever happened to us! Ok?"
I nod and cry more.
"Stop worrying it'll all be ok! Now follow me!"
He takes my hand and leads me to the bed where he lays down on his side, and I lay next to him.
"Are you ok babe?" He asks
"Yea I'm ok." I say rolling over "babe can we not tell anybody?"
"How about we keep it quiet for a little while and in a bit we can have a get together, all of our friends, and we can announce it?"
"Ok. That means imma either be pregnant for my wedding or have a baby there?!"
"Yea I think we wait!"
"Yea?"
"Yea I mean one, it will be less stress on you, two, I mean think of our photos? And three, I want my little one to be there!"
I laugh and agree with him.
"I love you Sammy."
"I love you more babe"

The next morning I wake up to Sammy rubbing my belly and smiling. He looks up to see me looking.
"Oh morning Bub"
"Morning baby boy"
"I made you some breakfast and sat it next to you!" He says.
"Aw thanks!"
"No worries got to take care of my babies"
"Sammy, are you gonna be able to keep it a secret?"
"Ummm.... well I mean I'm going to try..."
"Well I have an idea? I'm already a month in. What if we tell everybody to meet up on the weekend which is in a few days and we tell them then? I'm already starting to get a small bump?"
"Really?! Thanks oh my god!!!"
"Haha you ok?"
"I'm doing just great!"
I laugh and then I eat. Me and Sammy text everyone, including our parents. I finish eating then I go to the doctors where I find out about what is going to happen and I book an appointment for an ultrasound.
Then I go home and watch tv with the guys.
