Stay With Me (a Tillow/Buffy the Vampire Slayer fanfic)

I heard Tara taking to the demon she called Kartan, she seemed to know him. I peered through the branches of the bush and saw him slicing her arms and laughing. She began to rock back and forth on her knees and pull at her hair.

"Stop! Take me! Let them go! They don't deserve it! I do! Mercy!" Tara shrieked at the top of her voice. She wasn't talking to anybody but she continued to scream and cry at the person that was in her head. Karan slowly walked behind her and raised his finger in preparation to slice her neck. I didn't care what Tara had told me, I couldn't watch her be tortured like this.

"NO!" my voice was much louder than usual. He turned his head to me and smiled. Tara dropped like a puppet with cut strings.

"Tara! No!" Kartan's nails cut into my chest and I had a sudden thought of Xander and Cordelia kissing. Kartan looked me in the eyes and I felt a force controlling me. I kneeled in front of him and his nails cut into my forearms.

"...your pasty face again!" Xander was telling me he was quitting algebra because he didn't want to study with me.

"I can't love you anymore." Oz was telling me we couldn't be together anymore. 'this can't be true. this is all a lie' I thought. "Nobody needs you here." a rough voice interrupted my nightmares

"I was pulled out of heaven for your sake!" Buffy was angry at me for bringing her back to life. A sudden pain in my neck.

"I don't love you! I can't!" Tara was walking out on me.

"Stupid girl! The magic is to strong!" Giles was reprimanding me for bringing Buffy back.

"..your shirt." Tara dropped dead in front of me. Long slashes tore my shirt.

"Nobody loves you anymore! Nobody cares!" Xander was leaving me behind, telling me we weren't friends, much less more that friends. 'lies! lies! none of this is real!' I couldn't fight it.

"Your all alone, my sweet. Nobody left for you to hold onto. Nobody." Kartans rough voice penetrated my thoughts and he pushed me down.

"Disollvo!" I feebly shouted the curse at it made Kartan get blasted away from me, then all black.
