Sighing I grabbed my slippers and jacket before running to the woods behind my house. My brown backpack was hitting against my back as I ran through the woods.
Once I came to the lake I smiled softly to myself. "Finally" I mumbled before taking my backpack off and grabbing the rope and bed sheet.
"Okay. I'm ready." I said as I walked to the lake. No going back now. Once I set foot in the lake, I won't return. Closing my eyes I stepped off the dock and into the water.
The water was cold, yet inviting. The bubbles slowly floated to the top as I sank to the bottom. The rope that was tied to my left foot tugged at my ankle dragging me down as the sheet at the other end touched the bottom.
I had filled the sheet with rocks and big sticks I found laying around. Tying it to the rope, and then to my foot. 'Finally' I thought as dots clouded my vision and water ran threw my lungs as my body tried to breath.
I could faintly feel a pressure around my wrist as I let the endless darkness take me away from this cruel life I lived.
