ما لم أقل ("What I didn't say")
I met someone new,
What I didn't say was that I was still in love with you.
He asked me ifI loved the planets,
I said I hated the planets,
I didn't say I hated the planets because it reminded me of you,
I didn't say it reminded me of your eyes and the way your heart orbited around mine,
So I left him,
But I didn't say why
I met you one day,
A few years later,
You looked happy and I was just me ,
You asked me "who has my heart now",
What I didn't say was 'you'.
