I woke up with a feeling of refreshed along with the feeling of muscle sore all over my body. I looked at my clock and sprung up as it indicates 2pm in the evening. I checked my phone and received many missed calls from Daniel and a few from my mom and wondered why I did not hear it ringing only to find out that it was on silent. With that I quickly showered and get ready to head for work.
As soon as I parked my car, I dashed inside the police station to my department only to find my colleauge standing and bowing towards somebody. 'His back looks familiar tho.' Were the thoughts that ran through my mind. Daniel then signalled me to stand beside him and I immediately bowed not knowing the reason of it. Daniel then whispered to me that he got transferred from the cyber department to our department. 'Oh' was all my reaction till I looked up and was shocked of the coincidence. "Yoongi?"
He too was looking stunned but was soon masked by his expressionless 'expression'.
"It's Officer Min Yoongi for you." He replied and reached out his hand to shake mine.
"I heard that you were the team leader of this group. Well good going for this team that had a team leader coming in for work at 4pm." He remarked sarcastically and looking me over by the side of his eyes. He then continued.
"Well I am here to take over the position of this department's team leader." I was speechless as I did not hear anything from the director regarding of this. When I caught the criminal yesterday I thought that I was getting promoted but I was then getting demoted??
"Woah wait what? You? As the team leader of my team?? No way! You would sleep your ass off in the meantime we were working our ass off to catch the criminals!"
"Officer Y/N. Manners. Im your team leader. If you can't believe it I suggest you confront the director." He then sat on MY table with his legs crossed on top of MY desk not forgetting the infamous sly smirk of his.
"Well, thats exactly what Im about to do."
With that I stormed off to the director's room with my colleauges running behind to stop me.
