Darkness comes and it prevails,
Covering my face like a black veil,
It hides my tears,
And masks my fears,
But the darkest cloak can't hide my pain,
I'm still at least partially sane,
Slowly and quietly I walk alone,
Just like I do at my own home,
I'm used to this feeling of aloneness,
It reels me in like a dark temptress,
Alone.
