I became more and more impatient every time I turned down a new hallway. I can hear the music from miles away. I must have looked like a fool marching in the throne room with an annoyed look on my face. There were people dancing and standing off to the side with wine glasses in hand. I wasn't informed of any "event" and couldn't they place this "event" outside. I walked around the room to try and find my parents. Finally, at the back of the room, I found my parents.

"mom, what's going on here? I wasn't informed of any event." She threw her arms up. "oh but I'm sure you have been informed! This is a send-off for all the soldiers that are fighting for this kingdom! intelligence and power is the key to win this war!" everyone in the room-except for me- chants the words that came out the queen's mouth. "intelligence and power!" I hurried towards the door but before I could do anything... " hey missy, I didn't know you were going to be here." I turned around to see the person who called me "missy." "I swear I almost slapped you for calling me missy." He made a sad expression on his face. " I thought you knew I called you missy....unless that means we're not friends." I stood there to think of one-time jake actually called me missy. "you never call me missy." He crossed his arms and shook his head. " I guess we're not friends." I just stood there. " we might not be unless you stop calling me missy." I turned around and quickly walked towards the doors. " awww, that's no fun though... Lith come back!" I wish I had more time to talk to him but lately, I've been very busy.

Today I'm going to a meeting with the counselors, to see what we're going to do with the orphans for the grand celebration. The grand celebration is for my sister. Shes marrying off into another kingdom. when this happens there stripped from there power and then announced as whatever animal they married off into. Apparently, this is an act of bravery and true love. My sister though...is one of the strongest people in this kingdom. There's always has been a rebel attack when a celebration happens. I'm the one whos supposed to stop the attack. I honestly don't like that my sister is going to be stripped from her power too but I'm a princess, one flaw or one wrong step or if I trip infront of millions, I'll be a disgrace to this kingdom. As I'm walking down to the room where the meeting will be held I realized that there are guards running down the hallway towards the throne room. My mother most likely passed out from drinking too much. I wish it was for that reason but no, once I saw guards running towards me I got a bad feeling in my stomach. "what's going o-?!"

Next thing I know it I'm laying on the ground with dead guards around me with flames above me. 'an explosion...' I quickly got up and made a run for it down the hallway. I was about to go into the meeting room but...it just went boom so... I don't think now is the time for that. I was running down to the throne room because I needed to see what was going on. Was this the doing of the rebels... it had to be... no one would kill the royal guards. Plus they were innocent and they ruined a perfectly good dress. More guards came down my way. "My lady, we need to go, it's the rebel's from across the sea!" They started running down a different hallway and I, of course, went with them. "The meeting room just got bombed, the guards that were around me are surely dead." "Thank you for telling, miss, but I'm afraid we'll have to get the living before the dead." The officer looked at me, I'm sure he means me when he says "living." Everyone else is surely already in a "safe room." I never thought they were safe... well they are a safe place but whenever we are attacked the rebels always look for a safe room because they know we'll be in one of them. They only ever found a safe room once though. As me and the bundle of guards around me run past more hallways and rooms I start hearing more big explosions. One was so close, the fire almost hit the guards that were running behind me. Soon enough we made it to one of the safe rooms. A part of stone wall slides in with the other parts of the wall. We walked down many flights of stairs until we came across a metal door. The guard took out some keys and put a certain gold key in. The door opened and I quickly walked in looking for my mom and dad and sister.. but no one is here. "where is my family?" I quickly turn around and... they left...with the keys too. I guess I gotta wait.

~time skip~

I woke up to the sound of footsteps. "Hmmm." "She's sleeping... I think." A deep voice says. "No shes awake." Another person says. "Hey...girl get up." I feel a hand grab my shoulder. I quickly got up and backed away. I rubbed my eyes and saw two men standing in front of me. I stood tall. "Who are you?" The one guy on the right walks towards me a bit. "You'll see soon enough." I step back once more. "Rebels..." The other guy on the left also walks up a bit. "We're not rebels. our goal is not to kill the royal family." They both lifted up one of there sleeves revealing a weird skull tattoo thing...'What is that supposed to be?' I stood silently. "Look...we want you to come with us but... you don't have to if ya don't want to...we'll let you out...your choice." I didn't even think twice. "I want to leave." They did as they said and they let me out. "How did you guys get the keys to even open this door?" They didn't answer. 'Jeez... I bet their rebels...' One of them turns around. "We are not rebels, so please stop calling us that. It's honestly rude you'd compare us to them." I stood there dumbfounded. "sorry... I guess." Once we got to the top of the stairway the wall shifted back to its normal appearance. Everything is completely normal. It's like nothing happened but how? I ran down to the hospital to see if it was just a dream or something....it wasn't a dream. There were too many injured guards in here...'Great....this all had to happen before the war started too....' I walked around the room to try and find a healer. "My lady!" A nurse came running for me from behind. "Miss where have you been? What happened to your dress? Are you hurt?" She tried to look for injuries but I slapped her hands away. "I'm alright. I was in a safe room...why are you so frantic?" She quickly covered her mouth with her hands. "what in the world? please tell me whats goi-!"

I felt a hand cover my mouth then something needle-like in my neck....then I saw blackness.
