I love Autumn. The colours of falling leaves make everything look magical like the world is on fire while gold litters the ground. The smells of earth and chilly Northern air make me feel happy and sentimental. One last burst of joy before the cold sets in and snow piles up outside, freezing the world and causing my joints to ache.
This year we almost didn't have an Autumn. The leaves hadn't even turned and snow was blanketing everything. It would warm up and then do it again. I'm not a Winter person. I was born in the winter and that's about all I have to do with the cold, dead season. So with all the snow stealing what was to be the last of my warm colours before blinding white covered everything I decided I was going to create my own Autumn, one where Mother Nature could not touch.
See, I've always wanted to be an Astronaut but my health started declining at an early age so there was no way id be going to the Space Station in this life. I would still study about Space but it's not the same for me; I wanted to be in that great blackness, surrounded by stars. So with my art, I eventually began creating my own Outerspace and therefore I created an Autumn System where Winter never reaches. I pretty much was saying, "Screw you Mother Nature. You can't hide Autumn in Space!"
And as I had told my mother once, "If I cannot go into Space then I will create my own Space."
