This story takes place before the events of "How To Train You're Dragon 3: The Lost World".
When Eira was around 11 years old, a creature saved her life from danger.

The next morning, Eira told her mom Ran that she'll go get some food for dinner to cook for tonight.
As Eira enter deeply in the wilderness, she saw a little river up ahead.
Maybe that could be where she could fish.
Eira went through her bag that she's been walking off with and grabbed out a big fishing net, and she puts the net in the water while still holding on to it.
As she sits there patiently, she sees a figure out in the distance.
It was white and had blue eyes.
And it was the shape of a dragon.
...wait. Could this be the same Light Fury she saw before?
Eira's thoughts were then interrupted when she heard the sound of fish being caught in the net.
And the next then she saw after looking back at the distance, the Light Fury went into the bushes, and was gone.
Maybe Eira could try to befriend the dragon.
Eira went off to the bush that the dragon went off to, and hold out a fish.
The same pair of blue eyes look through the bushes.
Then, from out of the bushes, came out it's head.
The dragon smells the fish for a few seconds, and then it eats the fish.
As the dragon then finished the fish, it took a few steps a bit closer to Eira.
Eira: ( Aw crap. What should I do? Is this thing gonna actually kill me? Am I gonna die!? )
The dragon started to make a weird face, and then coughed out a little bit of the fish.
Eira held the fish in her hands as the Light Fury sit down in front of her, right in her direction, waiting for something.
Eira: ( Wait, does this dragon want me to eat it? Well I don't believe that I could say no, but I guess there's no other option not to. )
Eira opens up her mouth, and she ate it.
As she was still being a little bit grossed out, she was putting a thumbs up meaning that the fish is great. ( but not really )
The Light Fury looked at her, and it made a gesture to swallow the fish.
She was in grossed out shocked, but she had no choice, so she swallowed it down her throat.
She even almost vomited, but she didn't.
To show the dragon that she liked the fish, Eira gave out a sheepish smile.

The dragon looked confused that what she was doing with her face, so it thought it might give it a try.

Just then, Ran was calling out for her.
Mom ( Ran): * calling out * "Eira, dinner time!"
Eira: * calls back * "Coming! * looks back at the Light Fury * I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" * has one more glance at the dragon before taking off *
This may feel like it's gonna be a story we'll never forget, but little do we know, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
