Ever woke from her slumber, disoriented. Great Expectations was slung on the floor in a puddle of clothes. Her jumper has been thrown off during the night, so she sat there in her bra glancing at the door, praying that nobody would walk.Stacey could of arrived home any minute. Ever reluctantly rose  from her bed, it was an uncomfortable night. She was not used to the harsh hardness of the new mattress and the pillows that seemed too soft against her head. It wasn't home! Sleep didn't come easy the night previous.

Ever quickly got dressed. She slipped into some old dark jeans and a blouse here mother had packed. It had a floral decoration sprawled across the fabric, Ever hated flowers. But she dismissed it, knowing she wouldn't be leaving the dorm room, at all, so it didn't even matter. Ever then, turned to the thought of breakfast. Ugh... The cafeteria was no go. Social situations were not great for her know the on the best of days, but to be around hungover people early in the morning just topped it for Ever. Instead, Ever ate the cereal bars she brought from home, which were stuffed in one of the crumpled boxes from unpacking, avoiding the dining hall all together.

Her first class was on Monday, it was Saturday. Ever officially had nothing to do. Reluctantly she picked Great Expectations off the floor and continued from where she left off yesterday. She couldn't quite help her mind wandering, wandering to one person in particular, Noah. He puzzled her slightly. Everything about him really. From her first impressions, he didn't seem the person he was trying to make people perceive him to be. Something just told Ever that he wouldn't go boasting about his knowledge of literature, whilst trying to upkeep his punk persona. Stacey didnt seem  the type to sit and chat about novels, so Ever knew his books were a secret. But as quickly as Noah entered her mind, the quicker he disappeared as the likes of Pip took over her focus.

At around two pm, Stacey staggered through the door with a pair of strappy heels clutched in her hand. She looked a mess! Her hair was strewn in all directions, make up smeared across her face and by the hearty groan she let out, she was hungover. This was one of many thing Ever had dreaded. Ever never knew how to deal with these dilemmas: did she talk to the poor girl, or did she ignore her meer existence?

The latter.

Not only had the poor girl looked like she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards, Ever thought talking would make her head worse. Hangovers caused headaches right? She questioned her self.

Clumsily, Stacey threw herself on her bed announcing her presence with a large thump! Ever hid her giggle and continue to read the Dickens book, not really paying attention to poor pip. Her full attention was consumed by the half intoxicated woman on the other side of the room. Where's had she's been? Where did the boy go? Is she always going to arrive home drunk? Am I going to have to move dorms?  The questions swarmed in Ever's frantic mind.

Then as if the Gods from above heard.

"You'd never guess where I went last night.." the drunk blonde blabbered.
"Um.." Ever wasn't given much of a Chance to answer.
"So the girls were having...erm a... er..."
"Party"
"Oh yeah. And we were doing belly shots with er.... Noah I think. Then.. all of a sudden the table breaks and... Noah... Falls right," she bursted out laughing, "on the floor."
"Oh right.."
"Yeah like... Noah disappeared with um... Hally after that. Probably to her room." Stacey scoffed, laughing to herself.

She didn't even want to ask who Hally was.

Ever chose to not to reply, knowing it would lead to a chain of irrelevant conversation. She want to avoid that at all costs. Stacey went back to lying on her messy bed. Clothes were hanging off the bed frame like a waterfall. Pallets of makeup were circling the right side of her bed and at some point going to make her fall. A few rappers of chocolate littered the floor. It drove Ever crazy. How on earth am I supposed to live like this? Sawyer wouldn't let Ever live like this. He'd call her too dirty or a pig or something of the same relevance. He'd keep in line, making her life  better for her.  That would of been something he'd say

Living with sawyer last year was easy, but living with Stacey caused a whole other level of chaos, something Ever was not used to. She went out late at night, returns back early in the morning; she had no means of time. Shocking, her consumption of alcohol only made her more talkative. Stacey, the bright bubbly, chatty girl was just too much for sweet Auburn Ever, too much indeed. Not to mention the fact that she brought that boy Noah around. Ever couldn't have boys wandering around her room. It wasn't fair. All she wanted to do was to take her English cause, not have some freakishly handsome boy, who knows literature, wandering around her dormitories.

if Sawyer found out about this Noah appearing in her dorm, Ever knew things would not be good. He would of gone crazy. That was something Ever did not want to experience, it wasn't a pretty sight. She sat there, on her bed, in her messy room, listening to the drunken girl, who she'd only met yesterday talk about a boy, thinking that she knew get in a lot of trouble from sawyer for this. And oh, boy, was Ever scared!
