I woke up to meet the sunlight shinning bright in my brown eyes. I huffed as I got up to close the blinds shut before laying back in bed. I looked over at my bedside clock to see it was almost ten in the morning. I growled, annoyed with the time.
'I wish I had gotten up earlier.' I said to myself. 'Oh well. What's done is done.'
I got up and walked down the hall. I took a shower before returning to my room, picking out a Nirvana t-shirt with black pants. I brushed my long black hair; my best quality. I was proud of my hair. It was so soft and simple. I put on my glasses before walking out my bedroom door.
I walked downstairs to the kitchen, pouring myself a cup of coffee before sitting down at the dining room table.
'Just another normal day.'
I looked outside to overlook our backyard, which was right in front of a seemingly endless plane of long green grass. I smiled, thinking about all the other times I walked out there. It was so quiet and peaceful. I would stay out there until the sun set, occassionally seeing the stars overhead as I walked back home from my long hike.
I heard a rattle along with the sound of small feet hitting the floor. I looked into the kitchen behind me to see my dog, a female Hound/Lab mix. She had light yellow fur and beady brown eyes. She was so adorable.
"Summer!" I exclaimed, getting her attention, causing her to run over to me. I got up and knelt down, petting her on the nape of her neck. My mom came into the kitchen not long after, getting herself some coffee.
"Morning Isabel." she said with a smile.
I simply held up a peace sign as I yawned. "Mornin'."
"Do you mind if you take Summer for a walk?" she asked kindly.
I nodded, getting up to get her leash. Once around her neck, I took her out in the backyard, through the gate, and into the open. I felt the cool air brush my face as I walked. After about half an hour of walking, I stopped. I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched. I sat down, hiding in the tall grass. I looked around to see if anyone was out here with me, but I couldn't see anything. I just shrugged it off, laying down on the grass, looking up at the sky. That's when I heard that dreadful voice I didn't want to ever hear.
"Oh, look who it is. The emo!"
Mia. That bitch.
I stood up and looked ahead to see the blond girl right in front of me. Her short top exposed her stomach and her pink jeans hugged tightly around her legs.
"What the fuck do you want?" I said in my deep voice. My voice sounded more masculine than other girls' voices. Ah genetics.
"Not to see your ugly face you freak." she smirked.
"Well, good thing I was just leaving. I wouldn't want to hurt your smug face." I replied, walking past her back home with Summer growling behind me.
=>Timeskip brought to you by Summer's cuteness<=
After getting on my night clothes, I got straight into bed, not worrying too much about the covers since it was at a moderate temperature already. Slowly, yet surely, I went to sleep before I could notice my window open.
I woke up suddenly, feeling something on top of me and something cold against my neck. I looked up and my eyes widened in shock. Not so much fear; but shock. There was a man wearing a white hoodie with red stains all over it and black pants. His hair was long and black. His skin was bleached white. His eyes were so...deep. His faded blue eyes stared into my mine, devouring my soul to its very core. They were ringed with black, and never closing. His mouth was a deep red and a cut smile rose to his cheeks, forming permanent scars.
Everyone knows who this man is. We've all heard the story. This was Jeff the Killer. An enigma. An urban legand.
But...what he said next was not what I expected from him, of all people, to say.
"Who are you?"
A/N
Well, here's the product of my little mental experiment. I have to say it was a success. What do you think?
I actually like this a lot better. I'll continue writing this story like this. I'm letting you know, I did NOT use a rough sheet for this chapter like I usually do. All this just came out on this laptop screen I'm currently publishing on.
So I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Expect chapter 2 hopefully within the next couple of days. Bye!
Sweet dreams
