The Walking Dead: Talltale Stories.

Season One: Day 1

The music blur out of the pickup's radio, the song " Devil In Me " by Jamie N Commons fitted the sky's mood. I sang along with the song, loving the singer's deep voice.

"" I find it hard to see the light in the kingdom I behold ( ahahahaha )

I see him in the morning

( ahahahaha )

I see the devil in my life... ""

Right when the next lyrics were about to come the radio turned to static then a loud annoying beep blurred out.

I looked over at Luke, my boyfriend of three years. " What's going on? " I looked out of the widow for the first time in hours. Cars flew by.

" I don't know Kiara. A wreck probably, let's see what the radio has to say. " He fiddle with the knob trying to get it were the static isn't as fuzzy so the voice could be made out.

I sat up when the voice was clear out enough to understand.

" Stay indoors.... dangerous.... Military sent out.... many dead.... stay away from.... the infected... "

I slapped away Luke's hand and turned the knob again and again but the voice was gone. " Did you get any of that? " I asked Luke, finally giving up on the radio.

" Pieces, it was to staticky but something is up, something bad. " He glance my way, his blue eyes met mine for a long moment before a loud boom snapped both of us out of it. We pulled to the side of the road, I was about to step out when Luke lean across me and shut my door shut and locked it.

" Stay in. " His voice ran chills down my spine so I nodded. He stepped out and shut the door behind him, I turned on my seat keeping him in my sights. Then I saw it, the cloud of black smoke forming up within the flames. " Luke...? " I called out as my stomach started to knot up.

For a moment I didn't see Luke at all, he wonder off farther between cars that backed up behind us as well as in front of us. Car horns went off as well as people yelling, then silence... And a scream ripped through the nights air and another, and another till that was all you could hear, people started jumping out of their vehicles and running.

My heart raced as I lean over locking Luke's door. I looked through every widow with wide eyes looking for him. Then an man beat on the widow screaming wanting in. I scabbed back my back against my door. Then the man looking towards his left took off. I slide down to the floor board, I was trembling in fright. Where was Luke?!

A shadow came across the widow in a limp then backed up and press it's face against the widow. I couldn't even scream. I couldn't tell if it was male or female, it's face was ripped, half a jaw left and huge chuck out of it's neck. That, that thing can't be alive. It had to be bleed out by now.

I slowly moved my hand to see if I can reach baseball bat Luke had under his seat. It's eyes met mine and made a moaning noise before beating it's head against the widow.

I let out a small scream and hurried for the bat, but then someone smack it over the head, it was Luke! I hurried to my seat then lean over to unlock his door which he open and slam shut behind him.

" Luke! What the hell is going on! " I said as I watch him lock his door then start up the pickup. He was breathing hard with blood on his shirt. " Your bleeding! " I cried out.

Luke looked down as though he never noticed. " I'm fine, let's get the hell outta here. " he pull the pickup to the shoulder of the road and gas on it. " Put your seat belt on Kiara. " He commanded as he glanced at me. I simply nodded and did it.

" Your bleeding... " I said again... as I take in his's body seeing if there was a wound in sight. " It's okay babe, it's not mine... "

" What happened? " I asked but I don't really wanna know, I'm just hoping this was all a dream. " A man... came out of the woods and started attacking everyone... biting them... eating them... then they, what's left stood up and attack the same way... It was horrible Kiara. The dead is walking... " He said slowly, his eyes wee wide with fear. I have never seen him so scared. I placed a hand on his leg. He placed his over mine and held it tightly.

" Is this a nightmare? It can't be true... Dead doesn't just walk... " I look out of the widow people were running, hiding in their cars. The screams got louder... those things jump on them and... I looked away then. I couldn't handle it.

" It's true Kiara... " Luke said softly.

" Are we gonna be okay? " I asked as I turn to look at him, tears slowly slide down my cheeks. Luke glanced at me. " I promise... "

A few moment later a car jumped out in front us and the noise of metal on metal was the only thing that could be as we swirl off the road and into the woods... we flip over and over then we hit something. Right then and there darkness became my friend.
