Chapter 24: Facing Monday

Chris POV

I sat in the waiting room nervous as hell! What was wrong with Jade! The doctor fianlly came out with Jade's results.

Doctor: ok Jade hurt her ankle. Its sprained so were rapping her ankle up. She shouldn't walk on it for 3-4 months so she will need concruches. You may come and see her.

Me jade's father and Trey walk into her room. She had it rapped up and elevated.

Jade: I'm fine dad I really am... I wanna go home..

Chris: don't worry I'll help you ok!

Jade: I just need someone get to my class 10 mintues befit the bell hold my books and help me form class to class.

Chris: I'll do that and more!

Jade: ok..

~that Monday~

Jade POV

As we pulled up at school I was nervous. Eveybody was going to be shocked. I haven't told anyone about the ankle thingy but Chris Bree Jenn Adam and Danny. They the only people who know at school. Chris get up and opens the door. He put the crutches down the helps me up. I get on them and I stand there waiting for Chris. Eveybody stared at me... Like what yall looking at! Chris came next to me and looked at me

Jades ready to go?

Jade: yea let's just go...

We walked through the hall and eveybody staring at me. Nobody said a thing. As we got to homeroom everybody stared at me more. The annoments came on and I heard my name.

??: specail thanks to Jade on the basketball team. She help us win and she hurt herself trying to make sure that we win. Special thanks to her! Rock on!

Everybody clapped at me and I looked at Chris who smiled at me. Chris walked over to me and looked at me.

Jade: you put this together?

Chris: yup... I did.

Chris came down to my level and kissed me letting everybody know were together. I heard gasps but it just felt like it was just me and Chris in this room together. Chris pulled away and smiled at me. Then made his way back to his side of the room. He smiled at me and I smiled back........ I think I'm in love.
