This is it! Here I am! My last day as mommy's little boy! I've been waiting for this day since the day that I've heard about New York University! My mom always used to tell me that New York is far away and only God knows in what type of random guy I may run into in the streets and what type of intentions they have behind their eyes! But I know this is where I belong! I do feel bad for my mom! My dad passed away two years ago in car accident. He was the most courageous man I've ever known! I miss him so much but I know that right now, he is proud of me! My mom and I have been living together in our own world since and I was tired of it! I want to go out and live before it is too late!
"LOUIS WILLIAM TOMLINSON" I hear my mom shout from downstairs.
"I'll be down in a minute mom!" I shout back. I always hated it when she calls me by full name.
"Well hurry up or you'll be late!" she says.
I take one last look in the mirror and one last look to my room! I sighs in excitement because my dream has finally come true! As today, I'm a student at NYU.
"There's my favourite NYU student of all time!" she says smiling more than ever showing off her perfect white teeth.
"Good morning to you too." I answer also with a charming smile.
"Are you ready for your first day?"
"Yeah! A little nervous though but I feel like I know exactly what is going to happen since I've played this day a gazillions times in my head!" I laugh.
"Well everything is going to be perfectly fine." she answers with a caring smile.
Once we finished packing everything in the back of the trunk of my blue Ford Focus, we say our final goodbyes with my mom crying. She couldn't drop me off for my first day because her work called her to say that she had to be there for a project reunion. So I'm stuck to go by myself, but she promised that she would come see me next weekend!
"Bye mom, I promised I'll call once I get there." I say with tears in my eyes. I'm not sad but just happy that this day is finally here.
"Okay honey! I know everything will be just fine!" she said tearing up. "Drive safely." she continued once I got in my car.
"I will mom!" is all I could say.
As I pull out of my garage entry I wave goodbye to my mom.

I've been driving for 4 hours and I'm finally here! I'm finally at NYU! My home for the next 4 years. I text my mom to say that I have arrive. I park my car next to the secretary building, because I have to go get my schedule for the year, and my room key. Once I'm done, I get back in my car and drive to where my room's department is. I take a spot not to far from the entry doors because I don't want to walk that much long with my stuff just to get in. When I noticed that my room is on the fourth floor, I cursed under my breath wishing that there were elevators inside! I take my stuff out of my trunk and start walking towards the door. As I take in consideration that my day starts with no luck because there is no elevators, I mentally thank my mom who helped me do my luggage -which is not that big because knowing myself, if I would've done it alone, I would've have at least 3 bags- now I only have one bag and a box.
I start going up, but at the second floor I feel so tired that I take a break and put my box and my luggage down. I see a guy coming my way, running, and I don't know what to think so I pick up my stuff and start making my way up as fast as I can.
"Hey ! Wait up!" I hear him say.
I look back and I see him coming towards me with a smile on his face. He is cute but I promised myself that I would not get into a relationship until after university. Plus he didn't look gay so...
"Can I help you with that?" he ask me nicely. He is cute and nice! What a shame he's not...
No Louis stop that now!
"Erm, yeah sure! Thanks!" I answer shyly.
"I'm Liam by the way! Nice to meet you!" he introduced himself. Nice name!
"I'm Louis! Nice to meet you too!" I answer nicely.
"So, first year at NYU huh?"
"Yeah, and I can't wait to get started!" I say with a way to high pitched voice.
"Haha, well welcome to NYU, where the the classes are great, students are nice, and parties are huge and awesome!" he said with a nice smile.
"Thanks! I'm not really into parties but I'm sure they're really fun."
"Sure they are! The best ever! So Louis, where's your room?"
"It's in D dorm, room 969." I answered.
"Hey you're with my best mate, James! He's a good guy, I'm sure you'll get along." he said joyfully.
"Thanks!" is all I managed to say.
We made the rest of the walk in silence, since neither of us had something to say. Once we arrived at my door, he put my stuff on the floor next to the door and said:
"So here you are. It was nice meeting you Louis and hopefully we'll see each other again, I mean, you do live with my friend now! You're a nice guy, if you want, you could hangout with me and James sometimes"
"Thank you Liam for helping me, and sure I would like that!" and with that I smiled. "Do you wanna come in, since it's James' room too?"
"Nah I'm good, he's not even in there anyway, I'm going to meet with him at his brother's frat house! I'll tell him that his new roommate is here" he added playfully.
"Oh okay... Well see you around?" I didn't want to seem too desperate whilst saying this but I think I failed...
"Sure, and welcome again at NYU!" he said before leaving me alone in front of my door.
Here I am. I take the key out of my pockets and open the door to my home for the next 4 years.

I'm so so sorry for the wait, but now I'm exam free and all yours!!!
I can't believe I'm actually posting something for real I mean, yes I posted some other stuff but not as serious as this. This time I'm really pushing myself to make it as good as possible for you guys.
I hope you like it as much as I enjoy writing it.
Okay so this summer, I will be updating kind of slowly... I know I know summer is supposed to be relaxing and free of everything.... But not in my world, I'm off for six week on a military base for some program.. But I promise to write as much as I can every night and every free time I have and post everything I can!
So I have some questions for you guys....
